[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

Bluetooth Not Connecting

I merely suggested flashing a newer nightly. Alot of things have changed from build #32 to build #37. If it isn't working on 32, try 37.

Oh I thanked your post and appreciate it. But I want to see if anyone else has had this issue and how they corrected without flashing a new nightly. After my hours of work that I described previously just to get up and running again, I'm a little gun shy of doing any flashing for a little while.

Everything is working perfectly except for my bluetooth. It will pair with my Samsung wep475 but never connects. No matter what I try it just won't work. Any suggestions?

There was a bug in the BT a few builds before RC4. RC4 and beyond it's fixed. You may have to do a reset of your samsung as well to get it to connect but it should work.

FYI - for those interested, I flashed #37 this morning and today my GPS was good again. Not sure if it's #37 or if the GPS system was having issues.

is there a way to save my layout of homescreens and widget layouts etc. i want to change to a different theme but want to be able to save my current layout to come back to.

The Only way I was able to figure it out is to actually use ADW EX and use the backup and restore options that are built into that app.... I could be wrong but I think that is the only way. Good luck

I think it was the GPS becuase of the Earthquake again , and no im not joking. everytime there is a large earthquake, it slightly knocks GPS satelites out of sync for a little bit until they get them re-adjusted ;) glad you got it working... I use mine all the time for work, but didn't really notice anything difference other than it took longer to locate me :)

You can use the backup and restore settings under the ADW.Settings if you are using the stock launcher included with the ROM. If you use LauncherPro or ADW.EX from the Market you can also backup your layouts from within their settings.

I think you're right. It started just after the aftershock hit on Thursday. I use it every day as well and it was wierd seeing my position drive through all the houses and fields 30 yds to the south.

When using Google Maps while driving, my GPS was not consistent. It jumped around from wifi-level accuracy, to gps-level accuracy. When I go running, however, I use My Tracks. The GPS trail that left was perfect. I loaded #37 and did a full restore. I hope that fixes that issue.

Hey everyone. Everything's looking good on my cm7. Don't use GPS much...

I posted this about 4 pages back :)

Started in nightly 37... TABLET FEATURE under CyanogenMod Settings...

EDIT: also found some added 'Notification Power Widgets' under Interface > CyanogenMod Settings
And we now have the ability to place the Status/Notification Bar at the Bottom of the screen (like its upside down) instead of the top of the screen, you can do this under the tablet feature in cyanogenmod settings. let me know what you think... I am putting mine back to normal mode.... its kinda weird!

lol I left mine on the bottom for a change,it does look kinda weird there tho. :)

Whatever you do, do not do a full data wipe! Just regular cache and dalvik cache, then install .zip...

If you know how to install it manually, I suggest doing it that way. I only use Clockworkmod to Download it, i rarely use it to install a nightly. Good luck, any questions just ask :-)

If you follow all these directions you will not have to worry about any changes to your settings whatsoever

also, i cannot figure how to load the miui camera file. i downloaded to the SD card. found file with file manager. opened and it prompts to install via ROM manager. i checked the backup rom and wipe boxes and let it do its thing. i noticed nothing different when it was finished

Just clear cache and dalvik cache before flashing the new nightly and you will be fine; you won't have to re-set up anything.

Hope this helps.

when you say manually, do you mean not in ROM manager and by holding vol - and power booting into recovery choosing install zip or whatever it says.
