I got my invite a couple weeks ago. I'm loving Google music beta so far. My iPod touch has entered early retirement.

I got is a while ago, too. It's pretty awesome so far, and it really does free up some space, which is nice.

It does free up some space, which really is nice. Now instead of ripping all my CD's and transferring the songs to my phone I can have all my music in the Cloud and use the free space for r more apps.

The down side to Music in the cloud is when you get hacked - Anonymous will post how many Carpenters and Air Supply albums you have! Not to mention your extensive Bay City Rollers and Justin Bieber bootlegs!

This could open up a whole new blackmail market!

:D

I hope the hackers never find my abundance of cheesy 80's songs, I might never live that one down,

Your troves of Motly Crue, Poison, Twisted Sister and Ratt are safe with us! ;)

Unless you're hording Petshop Boys, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Flock of Seagulls, then we'll have no choice but to ridicule, laugh and point fingers. All with love mind you, but there is a protocol to these things. :p

Cant find GPS lock instructions

I remember seeing instructions to lock the gps using a sense based rom, an app to read a code from the gps, and dialing a number to enter the code, then reflash CM7. I am not even sure if is was in this forum, but I have been searching for an hour. Could someone please point me in the right direction.
Thank You.

It's been a long wait but we finally have a new nightly to play with. Nightly 93 is up for download.

EDIT-I was just reading the CM7 thread over on XDA and apparently nightly 93 is broken. It won't flash because it has an id error.

Thanks for the heads up...I just finished downloading and was digging around looking for any red flags and you found one ;)

I'm right there with ya, why temp fate? In the last words of one of the Challenger 7 astronauts in 1986, "Hey, I wonder what this button does???" Sorry I have a morbid sense of humor at times.

Not sure what you mean by Lock GPS. What are you trying to acomplish?

I didn't want to start a new thread so I am posting it here.

I am using CM 7.0.3 stable.

When using lockscreen gestures to unlock my device, the alarm is able to bypass the lockscreen. In other words, when my device is locked and my alarm goes off, dismissing the alarm unlocks my phone. Is anyone else having this problem or able to reproduce it?

I know I only have a few posts in this forum, but I read it every day and have learned a lot. I have never had a problem flashing roms of kernels. The only issue I have is with GPS. For months now it is unreliable. I have used different navigation apps and gps apps, all with the same result. It will lock on for a few min and the turn off, then it might come on randomly again and switch between gps location of network location, back and forth.
I remember reading that you could flash a sense rom, use a msl reader app, dial a ##gpsclrx# in the sense dialer, enter the code from the reader, and the phone reboots. Then flash CM7 and it should fix the gps. I found instructions for this in a few evo forums this morning, but the ##gpsclrx# didn't do anything and never asked for the code. Reflashed #93 and no luck, it works for a while after a reboot and then nothing. I could not find specific instructions for the dinc.
