RC1 was released last night, and 118 was released today, so it's slightly newer.

Coming from 7.0.3, I did a nandroid backup, then used My Backup Pro to backup all apps, then did a full wipe including cache and dalvik, and flashed 7.1 RC1, market and Chad's latest:

Gezzz I love this rom!!!!

EDIT--- After about 18 hours I had to go back and wipe again. Apparently I did not notice that from 7.0.3 to 7.1, my background image remained, and I was seeing a lot of "ghost icons" in the app drawer, icons for apps I don't even have installed. So I went back and did a full wipe including cache and dalvik THREE TIMES before I reflashed the rom. Everything's been running smooth ever since. I also freshly installed all my apps rather than restoring from a backup. That also may have been some of the issue. So this is a 100% fresh install, rom and apps.

Definitely give Ssethv a shout. He rooted his TBold immediately after leaving the VZW store and has already been through at least two rom's that I'm aware of. He can hook you up on the TBolt forums. Tell him @Android_Lee said to hook you up.

Checkin out Redemption Rom 2.4 Senseless.. Using LP. Much better camera! Battery life not quite as sweet as CM7..Still playing with settings everything else I like better. Hurts not running latest Gingerbread though.. miss cm settings as well

Nothing really interesting, just some miner bug fixes here and there. In fact, according to the changelog, nightly 122 doesn't have any changes at all...

Did you load the latest GAPPS and flash it after flashing CM7? If you have an old GAPPS it might have issues.
