[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

MIUI camera gives me FC's too much for me.. lags and sometimes causes reboots. When I get my camera out I want it to take pictures! Not wait for phone to reboot. On different note: I am running CM7 nightly #144 with Chad's 7/6/2011. Phone started lagging really bad. Low FPS and stuff. Anyone else had this problem? I'm gonna flash #146 now and leave stock kernel (making sure to format cache) and see if that helps.

The MIUI camera is great...when it works. Unfortunately there are some framework issues with it. I've found that turning off auto flash solves the rebooting problem, but your mileage may vary.

If ADW is lagging for you giver Launcher Pro a try, it's always been lightning fast for me.
I like LP too! ADW has some cool features. With a few tweaks it is quick too. See attached. My lag issues were system related.. probably chads lates kernel causing issues. Dunno. Invisiblek Kernel works best for me though. Great Battery. Looks like next update is gonna have a lot in it.. :D

Looks like the dBm option is not reporting correctly in the status bar. Hopefully they fix it in the next build.

May not be what you want to hear but I was having system lag problems a while ago and only thing I was able to do to fix it was a clean install. It sucks but I haven't had any lag using CM 7 since.

I'm formatting internal memory and external sd card and going with a fresh install. I backed everything up first and copied to computer HD.

Formatting SD might not be necessary. Definitely do a factory reset, then cache/partition wipe, then wipe the Dalvik cache (its under advanced in Clockwork Recovery). Then do your install and it should be good to go.

Thanks for the advice. I usually only factory reset. Or format cache. I wanted to start fresh on sd cards to clean them up anyways so no worries. Restoring apps now, then sms restore and tweak a few settings and I'm off. I've gotten pretty good at it... Practice makes perfect.

My little girl was messing with my phone last night and somehow I only have four screens. I can't find where in settings to fix this :bag

On your home screen - Menu -> Edit

This will allow you to add, delete or reposition screens.

Took a while to find it again ;) I knew it was there somewhere! ;)

Hope this helps.

Have any of you been pushed the new market yet? I downloaded the APK a while ago but deleted it to get it pushed to me ( just in case they updated it from the version I found). Still waiting to get it pushed though!
