ok, so whats new on the nightlies since final cm7.1 was released? i went to venture out on stock gingerbread roms since i miss 720p and a proper working light sensor. but i do miss the slim sexiness of aosp rom.

CM8 was reserved for Honeycomb, but because source was never released, we arrive at CM9. According to cyanogen himself, we're probably about two months out from CM9. Although who knows when those nightlies will start!

Not much has changed over here, bugfixes here and there. I know the bluetooth bug was recently squashed, and believe they may be switching the default theme to Cyanbread to somewhat match ICS. I'm actually running a Kang someone from RootzWiki compiled with some goodies that haven't been merged yet, so I'm not totally sure what is in the official builds these days! Just waiting impatiently for ICS now that source had arrived.

Anybody planning on switching to the GNEX? I'm due for an upgrade in March, and would absolutely love a Nexus device so we'll see what happens.

I haven't had any plans to switch, but as soon as I saw the Nexus, and from what I know about how fast updates come for it, etc., I'm on board. It's just hard to give up such as great device as the DInc when I literally feel like I have a new phone from flashing ROMS.

My contract is up now and I'm just waiting to see something that I want. So far the only one that I would even consider is the Bionic, but I'm in no hurry to give up the Incredible with CM7........patiently waiting for CM9 nightlies to start.

I played with the Bionic at work a couple days ago and wasn't impressed. Blur has come a long way but it's still not for me. I just want a Nexus because there is always tons of development for those devices. Plus with Moto still locking their bootloaders, those are not an option. My requirements for my next device are; front facing camera, LTE, dual-core, HD screen. GNEX has all of those so right now it's looking like my next phone. Although it will be very difficult to leave the Dinc, this phone is a champ.

Question on CM7 - I really like the stock camera app on the Incredible and don't want to have to use another camera. Does this app work fully in the latest CM7 stable version or the latest nightly? I use the tap to focus and take the picture, so that's important for me.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm really starting to consider the Samsung...I mean they made my LCD TV and that thing kicks ass so how bad could the phone be....

PS: I'm showing nightly #209....any thing worth making the jump to #258 lol!

I'm on 258 and it seems that lately my notification sounds are non-existent, and my bluetooth will turn off in-call, even though it shows at being connected in the status bar. I think i need to wipe and reset...it's just a PITA to reload settings and apps...

Titanium Backup Pro. Worth every penny. I don't do full wipes very often, but when I do it only takes me 30-40 minutes start to end.

Looks like that commit was only regarding BusyBox, still nice to see they are hard at work on CM9. A few more weeks and we might see some unofficial nightly builds pop up.

As a side note I plan on getting the Nexus .Keeping the dinc online but will retire the dx to the sock drawer.
