[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

So I see that you updated your CWM but did you actually try to DL and install 31 through CWM... I would try that, like i said just don't check box for full wipe, only check for cache wipe and gapps.

You mean through Clockwork ROM manager? I've used it for other roms but not this one cause the nightlies is for donate version only. Guess i'll either have to stop being a chinsey tight wad or find another way.

Wanda - download the 31 nightly from the teamdouche site in the OP using your phone rather than with your mac. There must be something going on with how your mac is re-zipping the files because those error messages indicate that the files Clockwork is expecting are not in the zip.

The browser will put the zip in /download on your SD card.

I just bookmarked the site once I got there on my phone, makes life easier.

Re-download and re-flash wiping only cache and dalvik. You should be good to go.

RC3 just got merged into the codebase!

Also looks like a fix for Bluetooth init was merged for us. I have not been having problems with mine. Anyone having BT problems?

Nevermind - I looked at the code, just cleanup of init file locations.

edit: Worked 4.0! Don't know why I didn't think of downloading straight to phone before...got all wrapped around the axle with using my laptop. Thanks again Pville and ssethv.

If this info helps, I downloaded CM7RC2 from the website to SD card and rebooted into recovery to install it. I flashed nightly 31 directly from rom manager and had no issues.

Wanda, glad you got it installed.

Glad you got it working!... and BTW, not that it matters, but ima dude... as Im sure 97% of us in here are :)

Don't sweat it... #32 will be RC3 with more fixes. ;)

I flashed RC1 just to see it in my phone stats. LOL. Skiped RC2 completely and went on with nightlies. You can still claim RC3 on #32 ;)
Pville... So im rooting (no pun intended) around in supermanager (same as root explorer) and I find a new status bar background hidden deep in Framework res!!! why is this sweet image not being used my my phone for my status bar background??? And please don't tell me I need to choose a theme in order to use it... (im guessing by the location of it that I do)

Seth - that looks like it's a part of a theme, but I don't know which one. That path is not on my SD so it's probably part of a theme you downloaded. I only have the stock three themes in Theme Manager and I checked, it's not part of those.

That's awesome! I'm definitely interested in getting that as a background for the notifications.

I am really digging #31, too. With fairly minimal use and the incredikernel, I am at 72% battery at 13 hours off the charger (with the seidio 3500mAh battery). I think I may not charge tonight for the first time in a while.

I am 99% sure I have never DL'd a theme for my phone... I am a minimalist and def not a themer (would still be nice to have the option to use this though)... I never noticed this until after my flash to 31.

just made 100percent sure I have no themes on my phone except the 3 that come with CM. I am on my SD card pretty much every day (either on supermanager or on my PC) and I have never noticed this, or even "android themes"... really weird, Im at a loss.

Dude - someone obviously hacked your phone for the sole purpose of placing awesome .png files on it! LOL ;)

Is the path on the Pic the same path where you found the file?

Yep... supermanager lets you view PNG's or any viewable file in full format like that... all I did was take a screen shot

The more I think about it and look at it... its not even the right size for our phones...

You must have downloaded something at some point because I don't even have that directory on my SD card. It's cool though. How does it look as a wall paper?

I must have, It's just bugging me that I don't remember and the fact that is so blatantly named android theme and I didn't notice it until tonight... As a wallpaper because it's not sized correctly it looks somewhat distorted.

Do you use Metamorph? I think the default directory it extracts theme edits to is "AndroidThemes". If so, you might be able to apply it with that, although I think it typically uses .xml

You hit the nail on the head... Now I remember where I got that from... f'ing metamorph... yep... ima dumbass...
