Almost hitting 39 hours on a charge with CM7 31 and the incredikernel (and the 3500 mAh batteries). This is, without doubt, the best setup I have.
Freakin awesome....
You know what I would love to know... How many people actually run CM7 on their phones ?
PVILLE... off topic question/when do you think (if ever) CM7 will be avail for the DX\ I am asking for a friend and since the new gingerbread leak for the device, I am guessing soon but not sure what to tell him... just wanted your thoughts on it, your pretty much the "go-to-guy" on all things phone

I don't know if they will without being able to unlock the bootloader and change the kernel. Perhaps the new stock GB kernel will be enough, but I can't say for sure.
True.. but my friend doesn't want to unroot his DX just to get the update... How can he go about it to get it... is is possible without unrooting?
Nope - even if he goes back to complete stock with root, he will likely lose root with the update and have to wait for a new root procedure to get it back. I'm sure there will be a rooted stock ROM available in a week or so. If he wants to wait, he can load that and keep root. I have no idea when that might come out though.

Yup I was rooted with my dx on froyo(2.2.0)an even the small update to froyo(2.2.1) last christmas broke root on dx but z4root still worked to reroot .
The leaked GB has been pre rooted on the dx now also btw .
But my I still am waiting for official version of GB to be rooted before I trying on my dx.

I don't really use Bluetooth, but I did notice a change in RC3 "Change Ib67939ce: correct bluetooth init for incredible", so it's possible flashing RC3 or 32 might fix your issues.

I don't know if anyone else uses playon. But I use it alot to watch my Netflix everywhere.. listen to documentarys while working etc. Well everything worked fine untilled flash 10.2 was released and now the sync is off from video to audio... is there a fix for this because it is really annoying. I even went back to stock and updated flash and it worked fine. So it has to be a cm problem...

Haptic feedback for me is not working on the bottom buttons. My home, menu, clear, and search button all will not vibrate.
I have reflashed RC3 and the latest nightly each 3 times, all with a clear cache and all that jazz.
When i first turn on the phone, it all works fine. After the first reboot, it stops working and won't come back.
Anyone know how to fix this? (I know where the settings is under CyanogenMod settings and have the first one checked only)

Check the second box in that section (Haptic feedback up) to give haptic feedback on softkey release. I usually have it off, but I confirmed on my system that checking this will give haptic feedback and unchecking it will turn it off for the softkeys. I also had Haptic feedback main checked while making these changes.
so i was reading some stuff and noticed its said to use the HDPI download of gapps for the nightly/incredible and i checked and i used rom manager to download gapps and noticed its the universal download. i went on to check the and there is no download for HDPI for CM7 only the universal. does it matter or should i use the HDPI categorized under CM6?
For Gingerbread (CM7) use the most current universal. The HDPI designation applies to older GAPPS.
I saw that and it did not look like it was much of a change other then some variable housekeeping. Oh well, that's about when it broke so I'll flash RC3 and report it as a bug. << le sigh>>
I tried this (so now the first 2 are checked, but the 3rd is not and the problem was not solved. I even tried doing a reboot.

Ok, so I had my first full day of RC3 and I have to say the battery life, so far, is unbelievable. Today has been a moderate usage day, and usually at this time I'm already around 20% or lower and I'm looking for a charger. So far after 13 hours off charger I'm at 50%, which means theoretically I could get a little over 26 hours of use before charging. I never got anywhere close to that with the VZW 2.2 with crapware.
So far the Cyanogen team has an unlimited number of brownie points in my book.
