[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I am amazed at it, too. My only complaint for a long time was that there was always a process running in the background. Then, today, I found an option to turn it off. I think this might be the best app on market for root users.
I completely agree.... It is better than root explorer, but no one knows about it ;)

Went to unlock my phone this morning it it wouldn't unlock the lock wouldn't even move. Just pulled the battery everything's good. Weird lock up

Okay. So here is my situation, I am going on vacation tomorrow and would like to revert back to a different rom, Something close to stock maybe virtuous at least something with 720 p recording and good camera quality... Any suggestions? As soon as I get back from my vacation and get my pictures and videos on my phone I am coming back to cm :-) Also I know I will have to do a full wipe what is the best method to get all of my apps back and the easiest way to do it I had a real Hard time coming from another rom to this rom. I have the free version of titanium but all that does it is remind me of what apps I used to have I would like to use something that will just automatically Reinstalled my apps, is that possible!?

Hope its not too late but here's what i've been doing. Before when i was using straight up RC1 I didn't think it was all that stable, but I got all my apps where i wanted, set it up as i wanted, then made a nandroid and flashed back to my last nandroid of Virtuous when I had to go on the road and need something proven and reliable. Then when I came home I could reflash my CM7 backup and i was back in without having to constantly wipe, redownload apps, reconfigure settings and the whole thing.

Now that I've had a full day and a half on CM7 RC4 I'll probably be sticking with this for the duration but I've always got a backup of good old reliable Virtuous on my SD, just in case I need a sense fix or need some 720P recording.

Long story short...make a nandroid of your current set up, go back to Virtuous or what ever you need for your vacation, then you can flash back to CM7 from your back up without having to start over again.

@ssethv - if you're only using it for vaca why worry about game progress? It's only a few days until you restore back. Some of those early Angry birds levels are more fun the 2nd time around ;)

Have a good trip!

I cleared the the cache and the Davlik cache., so I pulled the battery restored to my nandroid of RC4 and am in a bootloop, any ideas oter tan pullin te battery and restorin to mt RC3 or RC2nightly#32?

I just ended up going back to another backup and will mess with it later when it I get home home from school. Question, are you supposed to wipe before or after you install the kernel?

wipe dalvik cache whenever you switch out kernels
wipe in recovery, advanced>dalvik cache, then wipe it

Did you flash though rom manager or though recovery?
I always flash tho recovery

I am back running CM7. I tried using Incredibly Re-engineered, but two major issues: battery life; third party music apps can't see internal memory.

CM7 is great, but the poor camera quality is really a downer.

Can't I have it all? :(

Have you tried using the MIUI Camera app?

No, but I'll try it now. Just found that zip in this thread.

Edit: I guess my version of clockwork is too new. I'm getting some script error message trying to apply the zip. Does miui have touch-to-focus and take better quality pictures? If not, then this isn't really going to solve my problem.

I flashed through recovery then went in and set the rom up how I wanted it then I made a nandroid backup through recovery. After that I flashed the new kernel then wiped the cache then the davlik cache and rebooted. Went into a bootloop So I did a battery pull went into recovery and flashed the nandroid backup i had made before the kernel install and went into a bootloop. So I flashed back to my RC2nightly31 and booted up just fine, with the incredikernel working

GPS Problems Again

Since Flashing RC4 my GPS won't hold a lock. I had the same problem with nightlys back in the upper teens but then it was resolved in the 20s. Any ideas?
I am also using Incredikernal 3/18.

Sounds like your phone might not have like the new kernel(the one it bootlooped with) you tried.
Since going back with the kernel you had on your backup fixed it .
