I think I can wait. You have more important things to do. Thanks anyways.![]()
Anyone know how to fix the fast boot problem? I accidently flashed the wrong CWM in ROM Manager, which is what screwed me.

I got a problem. I flashed the Aug 2 generic cwm and I can scroll but I can't chose an option with my lock button. Anyone else have this problem?

Tried again with the camera.... Almost ready to give up. May be impossible on ARMv6![]()

FYI:
I'll be releasing a tool for beta testing to simplify flashing recoveries, tomorrow or on Sunday. This tool is written for Windows. Its just a front end for fastboot, which will be included as well.

Is there a 'release so far' for the p505 yet? Even without the camera I would love to poke around and check out the differences. Many thanks for all the good news so far!!!
If I'm not mistaken you can use the P506 build and the new baseband patch. If memory serves me, search this thread for the new baseband patch. Hope I'm not steering you in the wrong direction. Hate giving bad advice.
I tried using the 8/1 p506 with the Generic CWM that was posted on page 16 and my p505 froze on the startup screen (when the bottom of the screen says "Cyanogen Mod 10")
Am I missing another step?

Ok, searched this thread. I was wrong about the new baseband patch, can't find it, but I'm sure I read about it. Anyway, both the P506 and P505 roms are using Arjen's ICS kernel. So...
Remember to do a factory reset then wipe Dalvik cache and battery stats.
Install the ROM as usual.
Since you're using P505, reboot the recovery. CWM Main->Advanced->Reboot Recovery
Once the phone reboots back into CWM, flash the zip I've attached. This will update the kernel to new baseband so your radios will work.
I haven't tried this cause I have a Thrive( P506 ) but in theory it should work.
Yeah, there is a baseband patch. That's how I got the 506 build to work.
