So anyone else getting atrocious battery life with this ROM? I'm barely lasting a day, despite doing all the recommended steps. I am overclocked to 1.4ghz with a smartass governer so that shouldn't be effecting the life, seeing as I'm only using it to check Facebook, Twitter, +, emails ect.

Overclocking to 1.4. Will do nothing to help your battery. Maybe try it at 1.2

I'll give it a shot, but it shouldn't be effecting it. It should only be using that power when it's demanded and just sitting on my desk and checking a few social sites throughout the day shouldn't kill it.

True but set at 1.4 all day allows everything you do to oc / spike up to 1.4 - that's bot go.na help battery, even if it doesn't hurt that much.

I've read most people having very good battery life with this ROM including myself. I didn't mess with any kernel setting either. Have you checked your battery usage to see what's eating it up? Are you using the latest 704w radio combo? Also this new build has wifi turning on automatically when opening certain apps. Go into your wifi settings- then hit menu- advanced- make sure the box never auto turn on wi-fi is checked

Disable Phone Finder: Settings -> Location
Disable Weather Sounds & Clock Widget Full Screen Animation
Increase Facebook/Twitter/Stocks/Anyone otther accounts sync interval to 4hours or more
Use Auto-Brightness
Disable Haptic Feedback
Use Wifi when available
Set screen timeout to 30 seconds
Standalone GPS should be OFF when not using navigation
Refrain from playing angry birds while on the pooper

I think the bad signal I get at work is affecting my battery. I unplugged my phone this morning at midnight. When I got to work at 8, my battery had only dropped 8%. Since I've been at work for 30 minutes, my phone has dropped another 3%.

I don't see the Tell HTC thing. Is there a reason I wouldn't see it?

Just wanted to share my thoughts on this ROM in case someone out there is on the fence about trying it. I have been using it with the leaked 2.5 radio for 3 days now. So far I haven't had a single reboot and I probably had at least one every day for the past 2 mos, regardless of the ROM I was using.

I'm fairly new to rooting and flashing ROMs as I first rooted 6 weeks ago but this has definitely been the most stable ROM I've tried so far. GPS locked in within 5 seconds, handoff is fairly quick and I haven't noticed any bugs at all. I'm not getting the incredible battery life some are but I'm an addict who is doing something of some sort on my phone probably 12 hours a day w the screen on, and battery life is as good as any other ROM as tried and as good as I could reasonably expect.

switch to wifi at work...
or use juice defender to turn off your 3g/4g radios when screen off

make sure you have fast boot turned off as well - altho it sounds like you do

I was getting great battery life up until yesterday but I found the culprit. It started only after I signed into LiveProfile, that app drains the battery like crazy. I deleted it this morning, battery life should go back to normal now. So far it's not draining as fast.

I've done all the recommended steps, is there anything I should do with battery statistics? I love the ROM but I won't be able to keep it if I'm dying so quickly.

when you run thru the initial setup it asks you to opt in to tell htc ... i dont know of any way to access it outside of that tho.

We don't have WiFi at work, which sucks.

I do use Juice Defender which helps.

I'm getting much better battery life today then I did yesterday. I'm at 81% after 12 hours. Granted I haven't used it much, but at this point yesterday I was down to like 50%.

That's weird. There has to be an app open or something that is killing your battery. Even when mine was bad it wasn't that bad. Did you do all the things on the front page for the battery tips?

i was rocking batter life for a few days, then i calibrated my battery & battery life began to suffer big time for 2-3 days.

loaded another ROM for a few hours, then fresh loaded this ROM again & got great battery life back.

moral of the story= if you calibrated the battery, that could be doing it. as odd as it sounds, my battery life suffered after doing so.

Do you have 4G enabled? It seems to use more power while idling than normal when LTE is enabled. I've set it to only use 3G and have been getting decent battery life. Currently at 94% after about 4 hours off the charger with minor usage. Just ticked over 250hrs of uptime with no reboots or lockups so it seems to be a bit more stable than anything based on the older GB leak.

Not even 4G drains 33% in 2 hours...it's gotta be something else causing that.

Yes I have 4g enabled, I live in a 4g area. Not going to turn that off, it's what makes the phone so awesome. But this battery life is killing me.
