Running commands a2sd cachesd and a2sd reinstall has worked for me now, it was running those two commands with a2sd nocache is what made my phone fail before, also overclocking with smartassv2 @ 806. Tons of apps installed and running perfect besides a rare double screen tap.. Would be nice to get the collinph battery tweak to auto load in the future, thanks guys... Awesome work

I have a problem I have been trying to troubleshoot over the past day.
Battery level and charging.
When I plug the phone in to charge it phone says its discharging. But in reality it is charging the battery. It also will not charge over 80% in discharge mode.
Now the troubleshooting begins.
Tried different outlets and wall chargers.
Tried shutting down phone and charge but it just rebooted into OS.
Did have it charging for a minute at home plug but the stopped charging.
Plugged in over night and did not charge at all.
Tried wiping data stats in recovery didn't matter.
Wiped dalvik in recovery and that was a large mistake. Good thing I had nandroid backup.
I know some of the things I did wouldn't make a difference but now I am just making shots in the dark.
Anyone have ideas.
Software or hardware.

That's a known ZVH issue. I haven't experienced that specific issue on my phone but others have definitely reported it (its one of the main reasons sprint pulled ZVH). However, there are ways to try to fix it. You can try going into recovery and starting from the beginning and wiping everything and flashing systemdebug.zip again. Those are the steps I took and have not experienced the issue. Also, I'm not saying that it will be a solution, but try flashing drew's newest kernel after flashing the Rom and see if that changes anything. Also, there is a thread on the sprint site related to specifically this issue that you describe and some other suggested resolutions. Check the parent optimus s forum for the thread link. Hope this helps!

Yeah, some of the bugs can be a PITA. Other than those, it seems like positive feedback. Thanks guys! If anyone has suggestions for areas of improvement, I am always listening. I was considering the collin battery tweak as someone mentioned, however, I don't believe that everyone would want that by default. We chose to make the Rom capable of many things and to let the user decide where to go from there. ;)

I have never seen this issue. It's not a ROM issue I assure you... Try wiping from recovery and reflashing...?

So my wife being the observer she is said the screen does not scroll as smooth as it used to. Is that normal or is it a CPU speed thing and I need to put setcpu back on her phonephone

Yep. I personally use CPU tuner but any app that will control the CPU will do. ;)

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

I still can not get this rom to see ADHOC wireless networks. I have created them with two separate cards and nothing. My nook color running CM7 can see them both just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

I don't have adhoc networks to test it. I believe that this is a ZVH issue though and you would get the same result with any ROM. I would try a dirty flash. Or try wiping everything from recovery and flashing again. Another thing I recommend is trying to hit settings in the wifi menu and add a hidden network and see if that does anything. Aside from that, I think it will come down to Sprint/LG fixing the release at some point...

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

You can make one with any computer, in win 7 go to network sharing and security center -> manage wireless networks -> Add -> create adhoc network. I use gmote on my phone/computer to control my music. I cant do a dirty flash without reverting to zvd -_- This is terribly unfortunate but thank you for the fast reply.

Do you not have a wireless router? It will work over that. I will test next time I'm near a computer. Why can't you dirty flash without reverting...? I'm confused.

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

No I dont have access to the router. A dirty flash is just flashing over whatever android version you had on before yes? I rooted zvh and went straight to optirom.

A dirty flash is flashing the same ROM you already have without wiping anything in the recovery menu. Just select zip from sdcard and choose Opti-ROM...
