[ROM]Stock ED01 Rooted/ED01 Debloated/Debinged

I was about to do it and then I was hearing on the Problems thread that the Camera wasn't working and that the battery was bad. But it probably has something to do with the bloat that they have. Maybe with it deodexed/debloated, it will be bad @$$! BUT GOOD LUCK! Report back is all I ask.

None of that is true.
Camera works jus fine, great even!
Battery life is the best I've seen since I purchased this phone. I'm running it all day with everything cranked to max too! Push exchange, gmail, hotmail and yahoo syncing very 15 min...location services all on, gps on, screen on auto brightness, AND I was tweaking th thing all day reinstalling my apps and getting my launcher pro home screens set back up.
I dunno...this release seems pretty solid. I'll root it...but only because I want wireless tethering for free...

Just to follow up, battery seems better than it has been so far, 20% in 6 hrs with moderate use. The EC01 radio seemed faster for GPS than the ED01, not sure what is different.

If your referring to me about being an"ass", it was a joke. It had nothing to do with adrynaline. I appreciate everything he has done for us. I thought sarcasm was allowed here.

Heres what I did to get back to Stock them Froyo Official

I Odin'ed the DI01 completley to stock from the factory.

Then after that,
I let Verizon OTA to 28A then I waited again as Verizon applied another update for the official Froyo. (Took a little time (Approx 1 1/2 hours total)


I put the debloated ED01 (From Adrenalyn KUDOS!!) on the SD CARD
After that, I Applied the CWM All.zip

Then I applied the Adrenalyn ED01 Debloated/Rooted.zip (Through CWM)

Note: by doing the DI01, it applies the modem,kernel, EVERYTHING needed to trick Verizon to update our fascinate phones.

Thank God, Verizon finally got our Froyo out to us! :-$

I'm doing the same thing now. That Froyo update is SLOOOWW! This looks like it will give a nice clean upgrade to rule out any haunting problems from old bugs. I'll probably try using an odin package for my wife's Fascinate if they are ever created.

Not sure if you have been reading the forums lately but the guy that creates the ODIN packages bricked his phone helping another member.

Donations have gone out to help him get another phone so he can continue helping people that use these packages as a one click wonder.

Also Landshark is in the process of learning how to create them as well but this is not an easy task to pick up and run with.

They will be created but will take some time due to unforeseen circumstances. Patience grasshopper.

OK so I'm up and running on a stock ED01 and installed clockwork with odin. I want to flash the debloated rom but when I enter clockwork I am always in blue. It used to go straight to red. When i choose the zip to update, all I get is the yellow warning triangle. How do I get to red? Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Make sure it is this CWM ALL that is the new one. Odin that, then do the 3 finger into recovery and try and flash the zip of ur choosing

Side note can someone tell me if this rom has : when u hold power button down you get the options such as booting into recovery and download and all those other goodies, thanks

I was using an older clockwork but it seemed to work fine with EB01. I downloaded the file but ODIN will not recognize it. It is a zip and not a tar file. I'm sure I am missing something stupid here.

Success!!! Thanks again. That worked fine. It took me straight to clockwork red and the new rom is flashing now.

I tried holding the power button until the splash animation started and nothing happened. Is that the correct test? Just the power button and no volume keys correct?

I mean with the phone on(sorry)....it was a feature in superclean that when u held the power button u got "phone options" like power down,restart,recovery mode,download mode,airplane mode.......

Pretty sure you need to theme over top of it to get the power button options...

I just flashed and I can confirm you do not get the extra boot options/goodies with this ROM..
