i use my own ring tones so i havent noticed. just pull the ring tones from the good builds and drop then in you phone.

So If a guy (me) wanted to remove some of the stock ringtones/notifications you could just remove them from the folder? - Just trying to understand some of the basics

Sounds like you may have flashed a theme over this. Not a good idea. Might want to reflash rom.

ive never installed a theme to my knowledge. i didnt see the transitions zip in the post the first time so i reflashed with same result (on epic transition this time).


heres what i did.


flashed from dl30 superclean back to dl09
odin to cmw red
restored factory settings/cleared cache
installed update.zip
flashed new superclean voodoo
installed zip for battery percentage (eb01 version)
installed transition zip
enabled lag fix
rebooted

it boots fine, i setup gmail, facebook etc. its not until i mess with transitions that i gets stuck in a boot loop

did you flash a voodoo kernel with ODIN? I didn't see that step mentioned in there unless the DL09 you flashed back to was voodoo

EDIT- my bad, superclean has the kernel in there. I meant did you flash the EB01 modem?

EDIT FURTHER - I guess you did because Adrnyalyne figured out what was causing the problem

ohhhh..is there any battery percentage safe to use with this? i had one for dl30 that worked fine...but that wasn't voodoo. if battery percentage will work for non-voodoo i may end up doing that.

note: my dl09 install prior to upgrading to eb01 isn't voodoo(not sure if there even is a voodoo version)..could that mess me up as well?

was just going to sugest that. my phone wnt into a force close thing that only a flash to di01 cured.

Flashed all the way do DI01 came back to 2.3 and still froze. can anyone help??????

Edit: if not, I will just go back to stock EB01 full bloat and debloat myself like I did with DL30.

If you flashed back to DI01 you will need to flash EB01 again before you flash SC 2.x

I did that and I still locked up. I don't know if it is a bad app causing this, but I am going to install the apps slowly and see if one particular does it.

Hey folks,

I have been waiting to update so that I could release a super clean froyo version for you.

Changes since 2.2:

Added LG's TodayBriefing widget and TodayScheduling widget.
Hopefully uncorrupted audio ringtones, etc. (edit: nope still has issues. Plays fine on PC though....)
Screenshot app is back due to popular demand (its only 21kb)
Hid gps crosshairs.
Added SpareParts. Phone runs nicely with animations and transiitons set to fast.
5 Lockscreen ported by sbrissen with acc battery, slightly modified by me to use ChrisDDD's acc battery icons (blue).

Changes since 2.1:

New market added back in.
Modded camera to use power button, credit GizmoDroid
Long press of search works now, integrated into aosp lockscreen/reboot options. Credit dhoard, modified by me. Please note, adw breaks long press of search no matter what. *edit* I guess I was wrong about this.
Debinged EB01 browser by ChrisDD instead of the old EA15 leak browser.
Custom blur animations, credit to calebv2 and whoever else came up with them
Added sns back. Should have a minimal, if any, performance hit. Hopefully this cures facebook sync with contacts woes.
Added samsung keyboard back, due to problematic installing after the fact.
Note: Non-voodoo installs have no boot ainmation at this time.

Fantastic stellar work, man! This phone is really rockin' now. Froyo, or as I like to call it cuz I got sick of hearing "where's Froyo?" so many times, "Zengurt" SC 2.3 voodoo (+ transitions patch) is far and away the BEST setup I've had so far. The feature list on this phone now is kRaZy!

samsung - you gotta admit, they added (finally some might say) some really nice tweaks in DL30/EB01.​

i could go on and on. seriously, when you look at the finer details, and we don't even know the half of it, a LOT of work by a LOT of different people went into making this phone rock like it does right now. Can't thank ALL you guyz enough.

funny how yesterday was VD day cuz man i am loving this phone and all those devs who built it.

to all you Brother Flashers out there, buy these fine folks beers/coffees/whatevers - they deserve it. we're lucky to have them working on our phone.
