You need to uncheck the Automatic Brightness setting in order to use that feature.

Superclean 2.3 is definitely the best rom I've run on my phone so far. I installed the voodoo kernel/ rom last night for the first time and didn't have a single issue with anything. Thanks so much for your work on this! It is greatly appreciated.
havent tried my car dock yet..im guessing thats the dock/dialer patch? do you just run zip in cmw red?..and i shouldnt need to reinstall 2.3 to do so, correct?
Hi Adrynalyne. Is this in the new 2.3 version of the ROM?
Also, does anyone know if it is still unsafe to use wireless tether until the kernel code comes out?

Yes, this is Adrynalyne's lates version of his superclean ROM. Seems like almost all the changes he is making now are just based off suggestions or requests by different users, and not to fix problems which is why everyone is getting such a great experience on this build. Last I heard him say it was still unsafe until they get the source code. He's not sure what effect it will have on the kernel, and there was mention of like a spying hack in EB01 and DL30 that would let Verizon know you are using wireless tethering and they were going to charge you for the data usage.
Will wired tether work with it, or is that subject to the same suspected spying hack?

i hate coming on here and sounding like everyone who only posts when they have a complaint haha. i absolutely love the work you do with mobile devices. i used your roms when you used to build for the samsung omnia...
so now that i got my hat off to you good sir. my only question so far, when using the power button in the camera if you hold it to focus it pulls up the shutdown menu, you can then hit the back button and the screen is focused and you can hit the power button again to take the picture. it doesnt seem to me like this is how it should work, but maybe im missing something here. any help with that would be great. just flashed sc2.3nv

Hold to focus doesn't seem to work. I actually didn't create the mod. You may want to contact GizmoDroid on xda and see if auto-focus can be used.
could anyone clarify to me what exactly the transitions patch does? and what is the spare parts that was added to 2.3? I don't really quite get these concepts, and haven't seen much on them. thanks.
spare parts is an app available on the marketplace that gives access to some additional/hidden settings. In this case adryn is suggesting setting some of the transition effects to "fast" from within spare parts to make the UI feel a bit smoother.

So do i have to download the transitions zip too? Cuz it seems faster just by choosing the option on spare parts?
