Is it safe to assume that I can try to flash any boot animation? What is the worst that could happen?

i dont really care for boot animation , when im not working on my phone i maybe reboot once a week, if that. so why do i neeed an animation for it?

i believe once available (uploaded again), the SC 2.4 ver of nonvoodoo will support boot animations

Ok, I'm having a similar problem I had before...the market keeps reverting back to 2.1 even though it says in App manager it's 2.3.2. There is no option to uninstall updates...any ideas?
