Tried that...didn't work.
I feel like I missed something here...I followed the instructions in your post verbatim. However, things like NFS game still shows up in Apps and I feel like that shouldn't be there using a super clean version. Is there a way to wipe the data from my phone and start all over (without having to reactivate with Verizon or anything)?

Gunnermike53 had a solution for this before he said download an app in the old market, after the download exit the market, come back in and it should be updated. I'm going to look for his exact instructions, but I believe that was it.

I'm going to try that right now...I remember reading that when I was looking through the posts. I'll let you know if it works.

Also, just so I'm clear.
Updates like updating to 2.4 from 2.3 and updating the market using the zip file posted above are done using Rom manager right?

Sorry to ask here, but I'm a long time BB user...

I have flashed Super clean 2.1 via Odin. Can i flash2.4 via Odin as well? I don't feel super comfortable flashing through CWM quite yet.

yes i posted a full package and just a rom odin package aswell, just go to my thread and try it out

That's where I downloaded 2.1 and 2.2 SC. I originally installed the full version, but decided to try SC versions. So let me get this straight, I can download SC 2.4 from this thread and flash it via Odin like I did with the full version? I'm flashing it over the stock EA28.

how are you on EA28 if you just said you flashed 2.1 and 2.2

if you are on 2.1 or 2.2 use just the rom package
if you are EA28 use the full version

Ok, well I realized what I did wrong I think. I didn't put 2.4 on using clockwork...

NO! Try to avoid Rom Manager if possible. You save the zip files to the sd card, hold down the power button until the menu pops up and choose recovery. This will reboot the phone into stock blue recovery, hit volume down once to apply sdcard:update.zip, hit the home soft key. this brings you to red cwm. scroll to install zip from sd card, hit the power button, go to wherever you put the zip file, highlight the zip file and hit the power button, confirm you want to take this action. When you get the installation complete notice, hit the menu soft key until you are back at the main red cwm menu where reboot system now will be highlighted at the top of the list. Hit the power button and wait for phone to reboot

I reflashed back to Stock because of a few bugs...

I haven't had the time to try again until now. So I should reflash SC from your thread and than flash 2.4 SC over that from this thread via Odin?

Updated to 2.4 using this method...everything looks good. Market still run 2.3.2. Keeps going to 2.1

One other issue, it's not a big deal though, the GPS won't work on the weather widget. It works inside of apps and such though.

Is there a way to wipe my phone of all apps/data/etc/everything so I can start fresh as if I just bought the phone without having to activate through Verizon?

I found instructions online for returning to stock using a DI01 odin package. I'm going to do that and start over.
