Updated to 2.4 using this method...everything looks good. Market still run 2.3.2. Keeps going to 2.1

One other issue, it's not a big deal though, the GPS won't work on the weather widget. It works inside of apps and such though.

Landshark,
Is there a way to wipe my phone of all apps/data/etc/everything so I can start fresh as if I just bought the phone without having to activate through Verizon?

Yes. You can wipe data/factory reset through cwm. Even though you may be having a few issues with your current build, might be a good idea to do a nandroid backup of it before doing the wipe. Long press the power button, hit recovery, once in blue recovery hit volume down once to apply sd card:update.zip, hit the home soft key. On the first red cwm menu choose backups and restore, hit the power button, choose backup, hit the power button, confirm, hit the power button. Once it is done, hit menu soft key to go back to main red cwm menu, scroll to wipe data/factory reset, hit power button. Once that is done, scroll to reboot system now, hit the power button and wait for phone to reboot.

wgilles,
Before you wipe all the way back to stock, let's see if we can't figure out a fix to what's going on now. It may save a ton of work.

Adrynalyne,
Could you make a zip of the Deodexed/debloated so I can just update my stock version. The super clean just seems to stripped for me.

So many posts, getting eyestrain. Was the gps icon removed from the notification bar in 2.4? I have it on, nothing shows, and when it does in Google Maps, it just cycles around, I don't get that familiar icon.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned or asked. After 105 pages, one loses track....

Yeah. Adrynalyne made it invisible.

Landshark,
Took my time, followed the instructions. Everything is working perfectly except the market...

Great! Thanks. Also, any links to stock apps that sc removed that I may want back on?

It may be easier to go through ROM Manager for some apps (Note Pad etc..).. Other excluded apps are listed at the bottom of the 2.x #1 post.. If the app you desire is not listed I may have a link somewhere.. Ask and I will will seek.

I like backup assistant and sound player. BA I see in the link and will install. Sound Player I can find on my phone going through a file manager program, but it has no icon that I can add.

Yes, this is Adrynalyne's lates version of his superclean ROM. Seems like almost all the changes he is making now are just based off suggestions or requests by different users, and not to fix problems which is why everyone is getting such a great experience on this build. Last I heard him say it was still unsafe until they get the source code. He's not sure what effect it will have on the kernel, and there was mention of like a spying hack in EB01 and DL30 that would let Verizon know you are using wireless tethering and they were going to charge you for the data usage.
@LandShark Besides the tethering, which is ok for me to NOT use. I was talking about the multimedia desktop docking station. I made a post a few days ago on this. It seems that when you dock the device onto the desktop dock with all the ROMS after DL09, it does not go into the 'clock' mode. User @Ytaay seemed to think that maybe this was something that was hard coded. I was wondering if this was fixed and is maybe into user @Adrynalyne newest rom. Sorry for the confusion.

I have used the music player that is installed with the ROM to play sounds. There are a bunch of free players on the market..

Here is a link to an older stock music player. (deodexed)

Is there any way to use the Touchwiz music player in the car cradle in SuperClean 2.4? Prior to 2.4, the car cradle would give me a "No activity found: music" error immediately after flashing the ROM, but it would work once I flashed the Touchwiz music player. In 2.4, the cradle seems to work with the stock Android music player, but I get the same error message if I flash the Touchwiz player and try to open it through the cradle.

I occassionally play music from my phone while it's docked with navigation running, and I can't figure out how to send music to the external speakers using the stock Android music app.

EDIT: Should note that I've tried flashing the EB01 version of Touchwiz music on the first page in addition to an older version, and I've also tried flashing the car dock / dialer patch.

I'm having a problem with the phone rebooting instead of shutting down. When I hold down the power button, I choose "Power Off" but the phone reboots instead. I used Quick Boot to power off the phone and it also reboots instead.

I flashed EB01 via Odin as instructed in the sticky thread. And I just installed the SC2.4 ROM. Prior to installing SC2.4, the power off function was working properly. I don't have any themes installed.

Other than this issue, SC2.4 has been awesome.
