If I want to go from 2.2 to 2.4 I don't need to wipe data and cache right? Both voodoo versions. And I understand the 5 lock screens overrides the theme. But can u flash the theme back and sill have the lock screens or no? Thanks

Hey folks,

If you look at the screen shots posted in the OP it appears the wallpaper is showing up on the lock screen. This doesn't happen on my phone, it is just a black screen not matter which lock screen I use. This isn't really any big deal I am just curious if there is a setting somewhere that I am missing to allow the wallpaper to show while the phone is locked.

correct on all accounts.

as far as the theme, the theme will ovewrite the rom. many of the themes comming with the 5 lock thing.

anyone else having battery issues with 2.3? i was running the DL30 version of 2.0(?) and it lasted me more than a day. wasnt sure if the rom could factor into this.

i just cleared battery info at 100% charge, but interested in others having the issue


And just to follow up on a few threads above, i can flash 2.4 over 2.3?? rather than going back to a stock rom first? sorry, im new

I just flashed 2.4 nonvoodoo and my battery seems to be going down pretty fast. I am down 10% in about a half an hour. Should I wipe the battery stats as stated in a differnt post? any info would be appreciated.

Hey does anyone have a link/package for just the battery popup mod?

I have my EB01 set up perfectly (hybrid of deodexed stock & SC) and the only thing that is bugging me is that damn battery popup!! Every night, right as I'm starting to really fall asleep - BZZZZ DingDing! Your battery is full!

How helpful at 1:30 am :/

Anyways, I see that Adrynalyne included the battery popup mod into 2.4, but I can't seem to find just the mod, either here or elsewhere.

I used the instructions in a previous post on how to flash DL30 and I've been enjoying it for over a week, if I wanted to use SC 2.4, do I need to use odin again to flash the eb01 modem and install the rom through CW? Or can I just install the rom through CW without starting odin at all?

Had this problem too. Just go to wallpapers, select a different one, then go back and reselect the wallpaper you want. This is what fixed it for me.

You have different options if you are going to migrate from DL30 to EB01... You will need the EB01 modem - flashed in odin. The rest can be flashed in CWM.. if you have the new CWM. - Get 2.4 here

Or you can go full Odin package - here

Thanks! I went for it and it appears to have worked. So from here on out, I shouldn't need to open ODIN for updates to the EB01 correct? I can just download the new versions, put them on my SD card and install from CWM.

Also, what's the best way to get the original Touchwiz music player back on here and also set it as the default from the car dock?

In 2.3 SC how do I get rid of the puzzle screen when the phone is locked and an incoming call comes in? In 2.2 SC i set the lock screen to AOSP with pattern lock and my incoming calls would have the AOSP answer screen.

NM just had to change the lockscreen to the Glass Lock.
