Thanks! I went for it and it appears to have worked. So from here on out, I shouldn't need to open ODIN for updates to the EB01 correct? I can just download the new versions, put them on my SD card and install from CWM.

Also, what's the best way to get the original Touchwiz music player back on here and also set it as the default from the car dock?

That is correct. From here on any other version of EB01 you want to run you just need to install the zip file on your sd card and flash it through cwm. According to Adrynalyne, no need to wipe data/cache when going from one verstion of EB01 to another. I still wipe cache and dalvik cache just to play it safe.

just jumped from 2.2 to 2.4 and exchange/owa email is broken :-( Account signup gives "cannot connect to server".

Update: Weird, my corporate webmail server went down right around the time I applied the 2.4 update... So the exchange support in 2.4 either isnt broken, or its *really broken*!

NM just had to change the lockscreen to the Glass Lock.

Is there a way to change the incoming call unlock screen to something else without changing my regular unlock screen to glass, or is the puzzle the only incoming call unlock there is?

I have not seen or heard of a way to change the incoming call unlock screen. Might be something you would want to ask the theme developers about. Go to the first post of the Themes, ROMs, Kernels thread and click on the names of some of the developers. That will open up their original threads over at xda. If you are or become a member there you can ask them about it. Maybe some of them will include something like that in their themes. The worst they can do is say no.

It wasn't Gunnermike53, it was his fellow bricking buddy Sheepdog Elite:

Download something you use, let it install, exit market with back button open market, viola nnew market.

EDIT - Also under menu=>settings=>privacy that automatic restore is unchecked
and under menu=>settings=>applications that unknown sources IS checked.

I grabbed that and installed it via CWM. It works but it doesn't launch from the car dock app I'll keep digging, I'm sure someone has the answer already posted here.

That didn't work...I even tried doing all of those steps and installing the market update again from red cwm.

Bad news is I don't know how to help you any further with the market. Good news is there are a lot of people at AC and in these forums who know a lot more than I do. So hopefully one of them sees this and can help you.

Don't know what quickpanel is. To use screenshot, hold the back soft key then hit the power button

Changing your lock screen to glass lock will change your incoming call screen to AOSP. However, using AOSP unlock or Rotary unlock (the 2 I prefer) will get you puzzle piece incoming call screen. I'm not complaining though this ROM is absolutely rockin! No hiccups yet.

I'm running a near stock EB01 but have linked the search key to google. When I long press it, I do not get the voice search. I see in the first post a link to a fix but is this fix only for DL09? Here is the link:
