So, I am running TER 1.5 with mini theme 1.8. I downloaded and installed the Sprint Nascar app from the link listed. I got it installed, but whenever I try to get it running, it says that I must be a Sprint/Nextel user. Is there any way to get this working?

are you roaming? because the sprint nascar and football apps im like 95% sure you gotta be on home network, not roaming, to use. I think thats how it identifys you are a sprint customer... pretty sure i read that in a thread, maybe this one, a long time ago. dunno tho.


question of my own for rag; genocide.. is there any known marketplace glitch? when it was installed on mine couldnt get market to work. at all. used CWM to go back to my restore point that i made just prior to flashing genocide .01a, and it works perfect. any tips/ideas? (if not, im happy with battery life now with TER 1.5 instead of 1.2, its waay better. but if i can underclock my cpu and get even more out of the phone i definitely will do it. market is just more important)

I would like to connect to an Ad-Hoc network. This is being created by an AR-Drone parrot quad-copter. I am able to make wireless teather work fine using TER 1.5 and WiFi Teather 3.0Beta9. I have read about solutions using a modified wpa_supplicant. Does anyone have experience with this? I dont want to screwup a working teather.

Yeah you need to update Wifi Tether. Go here:

Download the 3.0 Pre 9 it works great.

When I simply downloaded and installed over the existing baked version I received the same error. The solution was to uninstall the baked version and then install 3.0 Pre 9 again and voila it worked.

Now another issue/Q I have. Prior to switching over to TER I had GameLoft Dungeon Hunter installed. It was a copy that they gave away free for a limited time (got info from AC). I used My Backup Pro to backup all my apps and data prior to upgrading to TER. When I upgraded to TER 1.5, I restored Dungeon Hunter and now it tells me "This is not an original copy of DungeonHunter" and gives me an "Ok" to close. Even if I try to use the apk they sent me to do a fresh install it gives me the same message. Anyone else seen this issue? Should I contact GameLoft directly?

One more issue I discovered.

Anyone else having issues with the Hulu app? It appears they are on to us. When I try to play any video after flashing in TER 1.5 I get an error indicating the platform is not supported.

Same issue with Gameloft's Asphalt 5 HD, and no sound during Fruit Ninja with freezing at times.

I've heard of the battery-discharge-reset issue, and I even tried to replicate it by letting my phone die but nothing happened to my system. It was just the way I left it after I charged back up. I'll try and look more into this.

Froyo will use RFS by default. As soon as we get a custom kernel based on official Froyo, we'll be in business for EXT4.

Well, it happened again tonight on TER 1.5 after a battery drain. [edit] staying with TER for the time being [/edit].

After closer inspection, it required me to resign into Google and then I received a bunch of FC's. Rebooted to CW3 and reset permissions. Rebooted. Appears all is ok now. Was missing some widgets so I simply replaced them. Weird though.

I'm getting fc's every time when I open You Tube. Tried clearing data and cache but that didn't help. Anyone else getting this?

My Youtube FC's too. tried everything I know of to fix it. I just use the mobile web version now and it works.

Is there really any reason to go to Froyo EB13 over TER 1.5? I FINALLY got my EPIC the way I like with TER and am hitting Quadrant scores over 1600+. I just hate the idea of starting all over and spending a week tweaking it all out.

OR, should I wait for ROOT and then go with another ROM such as BakedSnack (since TER is not being refreshed)?

Try not to restore Dungeon Hunter using myBackup Pro (not sure how to un-restore now that the deed is done). I did not backup my game prior to flashing. After putting TER on, I just reinstalled Dungeon Hunter using the free apk they sent me, and everything worked just as normal and my game saves were still there.

Its been pretty quiet here. I'm assuming people have moved on and tried to install the Official EB13 Froyo from Samsung. Anybody here have any comparisons? TER 1.5 vs EB13. I'm sticking with my TER 1.5 but my wife hasn't had much luck with it. I read somewhere that quadrant scores returned to sub-1000 on EB13.

A lot of people did, yes. I had to as well so I could offer support to all of them. Would still be on TER v1.5 otherwise - EB13 is a downgrade, at least until good ROMs/kernels start popping up.
