[ROM] TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.5 AC - no planned EB13 update :'(

Is there a ssh server on the phone with this rom if so how do I a) turn it off b) change the password?

Nope, that's an iPhone problem :D

thanks for the info. FYI... You are awesome and I appreciate your work here. One last question, your Rom/Kernel Version says TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.5 is that what we are looking forward to in the near future? :)

You are correct, currently working out a few bugs - and then on to beta testing.

Yes look for TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.5 to be out in the near future. Ragnarokx and I are putting together some of the final details and then beta test it for a few days and see how things go. I think everyone will be pleased with what we have to offer.

Ok thanks for the ssh info next question any one notice that with the black transparent notification screen the actual notifications stay grey and everything else is transparent and black?

Yes it was left that way due to conflicts with other apps.

Ok good to know is that something that will be addressed in the next release of this rom?

Unfortunately after changing the background to black or transparent it does conflict with certain app notifications that are displayed. If the application has its notification text in black or a shade of black then it will be invisible when making the change. Probably only affect a small percent of apps out there but still the conflict does exist.

I will look into other options but at this time I will opt to leave it as is or possibly offer a altered version for those who are interested and don't mind a few apps not displaying their information properly due to the color change.

Ok I have seen this on here before but I cannot find it1

How do i get the text message notification of a voicemail to go away it just started happening today

Sorry i found it

I sometimes find like some program settings are being reseted after a soft reset(vol up+power+cam button ), either PowerAMP Player, cham sms program.

sometimes when charging the phone just leaving it like that, im reciving a a couple of text's and all having cham sms as my principal thing my phone shuts down, or recently i've been having to reset it due to that the screen goes black keys don't work but the phone is still active but even if i pull the kb out the phone screen wouldn't lit up? I've just been having it charging and when i come to check it, that happens.

~ btw another question, being a speedyrom, do i still have to cancel the DRM activity? or i can just leave it running? because in eclair it consumed power like a mofo.
Thanks alot for all rag and paul! cant' wait for 1.5!

Actually I have never bothered to cancel out the DRM activity. I leave it running and I still get a a good 10 hrs plus from my phone. I'm probably the worse when it comes to battery management. I don't check task manager very often, I don't use any apps to control running apps. I really don't do anything except flash the heck out of my phone day to day and have a good time with my Epic 4g !

What else have you done to conserve power? manual instead auto brightness, set cpu, set the built in process manager to aggressive? I get good life, easily 10+ but i had to set to manual brightness, mostly dim all the time, and set the process manager to aggressive.

Okay you got me there LJ, I forgot I did set that back awhile ago. Screen brightness to manual about 10%. I'm sure that does play into effect a great deal. Otherwise thats it.

BTW LJ, hows those pngs doing?

aggressive?

In spare parts got to Activity/Process Manager and set it to agressive. It lowers the threshold for how long unused apps stay running.

oooh..so this means that it kills them quicker? freeing more memory, batt power ect?
PIMP! The definition weren't that clear to me,so i didn't want to mess with it :P :D:D
any other lili hidden options i could use or take advantage? :O
ragnarok left this goodies in and not tell us!
tsk tsk tsk!
that lil green bot!
jkng :)

hmm-now this is a really good option but only if you could control which ones not to actually Close, specially the launcher.
