[ROM] tvall's iho Roms and Kernel "thread hijacked"

What would you guys think about a 3d app drawer in launcher2 (like the nexus)? Might be in the next update if I can make it work

Im getting a bit of lag after a few days of use. It doesnt seem to stay snappy if you will. Its not a big deal, it works great. Its just a minor detail i noticed with your latest & greatest kernel :p.. I cant leave this ROM its perfect for my use. Thanks everyone involved, especially Tvall .:D

My common practice to resolve lag issues is I make it common practice every 2 or 3 days to boot into recovery and do a cache partition and dalvik cache wipe. Clears out the garbage and brings back the "snap" in your device....

Interesting, I wonder why this is happening. The lag is not hindering but it is noticeable. I'll do this from now on. I'm glad there's a 'fix', thanks for posting it!

Not sure on this ROM/kernel/device package in particular but its a common issue with Android especially custom ROMs for dalvik to load up with tons of garbage real quick and it starts lagging down the launcher and eventually other apks in the device. I look at it as a general fix across the board for any Android device rooted, running custom ROMs. 5 minutes of your time every few days seems to do the trick.

As a public service announcement, tvall is no longer posting here. You will now find him at vmroms.com or XDA.

Now that I have my thread back, there have been a couple updates to my rom. And I released v0.3.3 of my kernel. Due to the fact that no one wants to pay the internet bill, I currently can't work on my stuff unless I go to a fast food place or a cafe or something (where I will likely be too busy eating as much food as possible to think about this stuff).

Everything can be found in http://vmroms.com/~vmstorage/magpie/
