thanks for all the links but wanda helped me first, thanks wanda. im going to flash over this nightly pretty soon today, but 1 more question b4 i full whipe and flash cwm, i dont have to change anything or file namkes do i just add that zip to my sc, then full wipe then flash cwm2 then rom?

Nope, you don't have to change the name of the zip or anything. Just make sure you've got the CWM 2.5 zip on the root of the sd AND the ROM. Get into recovery, flash the CWM zip first, then without rebooting flash the ROM. Reboot and enjoy.

i flashed it perfect and just flashed the rom rebooting now.... thanks for the help man want to try their wifi.. i like the sence alot more than cm7 but alot of pros about that rom too

Sweet pretty much set up with warmz now.. only thing is the playon app doesn't work. That's a real bummer I have to use playon to watch my Netflix on my phone. I'm going to make a nandroid and just switch between his one and cm7. I love this rom alot

So I flashed the row by the rules posted and I'm having problems. It is constantly restarting sense and apps just close when I try to use them. Also when I'm trying to enter my Google account on start up it just keeps starting over. I have to go through that process several times. Any one have a clue what's going on.

Did you wipe data, cache and dalvik cache?

What version of cwm did you flash the rom with?

Yes I wiped all 3 I tried nightly 4/12/11 and 4/13/11

I just successfully flashed this rom with clockworkmod 2.5x I have had no problems other than the playon app not playing videos

Yeah check what version of clockwork you have - go to rom manager app, and at the top it tells you what version you have flashed.

you need version 2.5

All I can think for you to do is go back into recovery and do a full wipe of data then cache then dalvik, then wipe data and cache one more time. Them flash the rom using 2.5x cwm and you should be good

I'd agree. Go back to 2.5 with the .zip from the previous posts and THEN do your data wipes...in fact, just to make sure, wipe it twice. Then flash the ROM, then reboot.

Once you get it running, it really is a nice ROM, the trouble is its kind of a pain to get up and going.

Ok i'm starting to get frustrated!

i've been wanting to give this rom a try for a while now but it just wont work!

ok i've tried a few different things:
1-tried to install RLS1 using correct link for CW3 which is what i'm running.(no go)
2- then tried installing latest nightly by replacing META file(posted by Upstreammiami) to work with CW3.(no go)
3- now im tryin to install lastest nightly using the file that temp gives you CW2 and have both on root of sd card. i wiped everything 2 times both on CW3 and CW2. still on the splash screen and have been for about 10 min now and counting.

*also on the 1st two bullets i also let the splash screen stay for 15 to 20 min. and i also wiped all 3 things at least 2 times before attempting to flash rom.

any ideas or advice?

I had nothing but problems flashing this rom. Successful after a few tries tho so don't get down. This is what I say you try this time.

Reload your nandroid of your previous rom.

Then dowload the nightlies. Make sure you download the incredible one as in the nightlies page there are two different devices

Put both on the root of your SD.

Then flash cwm2.5 (your screen will now be I'm green font not orange.)

Then flash warmz for incredible.

Then reboot when it finishes

Wait maybe 2-3 minutes ay white HTC screen then the warmz splash will appear and maybe about another 2min there you should be in.

That's why I had mentioned there were two devices in there. Honestly I did the same thing but downloaded the file on my phone and realized like 40% way through download the file name wasn't what I was reading the forums.. hahah. But I didn't flash wow so I guess flashing roms from another device won't broken your phone.

I'm glad that you got it working that's really good up here man. What do you like so far about this rom? What were you coming from?

I'm coming from CM7 and I'm a die hard fan of it because its my favorite ROM by far.

I wanted to give this rom a try because I wanted to play with sense 2.0 and I love it. Its really smooth and quick. The only thing is there isn't as much customization as CM7 but I think I've just been spoiled with them The call quality is very clear too I've noticed except I feel like I was getting a stronger signal (more bars) with CM7 than with Warm Z. Maybe its just in my head. lol. The only other thing that bothers me is how i cant change the the dock bar too much. I liked how in CM7 i can change how many icons I wanted along with customize all the icons on bar.

But I'm reallly enjoying the sense and cant wait until (hopefully able to) they port sense 3.0 to our device.
