I didn't know that an app for wireless tethering came with the ROM. I have tried several wireless tethering apps and none seem to be able to bypass the issues on the Sprint end that require that my profile have the $30/month mobile hotpot charge.

Wireless Tether activates the hotspot functionality with no regard as to whether or not you pay sprint or not. I do not have the hot spot plan, yet my hotspot works fine. Activate wireless tether. you may have to mess with the settings to get it to work right.....but it should work fine.

RE Wireless Tether App - I am not seeing it as an app or a widget. I can see the mobile hotspot options but I am unable to enable the mobile hotspot functionality and get a Sprint error code back. I do have 3G cabability on the phone and can see the icon and use 3G regularly.

Hm, it should have come on the ROM. Regardless, go download wireless tether from the Market, install it, give it root access, and shazam, free wireless tether.

just watch how much you tether when roaming, cause sprint WILL drop the hammer on you.

have fun!

Last night I went ahead and updated my Radio to ZVH to test out this rom and other stock style Gingerbread roms. When I first got this phone it was on ZVD and I just threw Cyanogenmod on there and called it a day.

Well I wanted to test some other roms to see if little quirks would disappear and so far a few have but a few persist. On major one is my Market issue.

I flashed Your Mom after rooting the ZVH install and flashing Xionia, then flashed the updated kernel. I let it boot and I signed into my Google Account and rebooted to install the Extras. I then proceeded to install apps and everything worked alright.

Until this morning I started to download the Kindle app and Foursquare. The Kindle app complains about lack of space when I have more then 50 MB on my internal storage and a gig on my SDcard. The Foursquare app downloads and during install spews out a "Package File Invalid" error. My first steps were to clear market data and reboot, when that didn't work I cleared market data, uninstalled updates and rebooted. The problem persists.

Has anyone had this issue and found a workaround? I had this issue once before while running CM7 on this phone as well.

I did some investigation and must state the obvious. Space is an issue, not in /data that is reported under the apps listing but in /cache. How my dalvik cache alone is 133mb I have no clue but that seems to be the primary cause of my frustrations.

Thank you devs for your work and thanks everyone else who may have taken a moment to read my post.

Haven't really messed with it much it looks cool kinda weird from stock... GREAT AND THANX (i am trying to start learning this stuff...First RoM flash!) :)

Please excuse me for my ignorance.... I am completely stock right now. If I root and install the your mom rom.... and in the future if I want to become completely stock again....

Whats that process and how hard will that be?

there are threads to do so.. posting every lil detail here would just be ridiculous. Look on the forums for HOW TO RETURN TO STOCK

Still having issues... My phone runs great but my girls phone on the other hand keeps having issues with rebooting randomly...

They you are not on ZVH baseband....go back to ZVD and update properly before using YOUR MOM

Try wiping everything and doing a fresh install. There should be no issues with reboots. Unless its your phone itself being evil
