S6 Edge Screen Protection

Wanted to drop everyone a nice hint,

Zagg's OWN website will only have their screen protector up for Pre order right now.

Oddly enough.. the exact same screen protector is available to buy off Verizon's website.. so they got it early i guess? I already bought one, it arrives tomorrow in the mail :)

Really interested in this. I dont want a case, but i almost feel obligated to protect a $900+ phone. How well do tempered glass covers work? ive never had one.

ZAGG InvisibleShield Dry for Samsung Galaxy S 6 Edge - Full Body | Verizon Wireless

I find it interesting they are saying its a full screen protection and that on Verizon's site it say Tempered Glass, yet on AT&T's site its $20 and doesn't have the back protection and says its "film" Zagg Invisible Shield Dry Apply for Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge -- AT&T so is it Tempered Glas sor Film?

I also checked both Zagg.com/EU and Zagg.com/US and on the EU page they show the S6/S6 Edge and its NOT Tempered Glass its a Film material and on the US page they don't show the S6/S6 Edge at all (yet).

So for now it looks like Amzer is the only one offering Tempered Glass.

Also here are a few others I found on Amazon.com

The Illumshield appears to cover the entire front. Amazon.com: iLLumiShield - Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Screen Protector with Lifetime Replacement Warranty - Japanese Ultra Clear HD Film with Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint - High Quality (Invisible) LCD Shield - [3-Pack] OEM / Retail Packaging: Cell P

Klear Cut also covers the entire front http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4323038

Spigen took the cheap way out and did the center of the screen and the full back http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4323038

This was posted on r/android and it is intriguing at the least. It says it's not glass but claims a "scratch resistance" of 9H+ where most glass protectors claim a "hardness" of 9H. I don't know if the semantics here imply different things but it sounds like this could be a premium feeling protector opposed to the rubbery film ones.

I got the spigen full body protector and it works great. Its a wet install but it covers the whole screen and it looks amazing. Totally would recommend it!

How easy was it to install? I've only done one of those before and it was a little messy and then you had to wait a day to really use the phone.

Good to know. I ordered this to go along with the Spigen Neo Hybrid CC case in Gunmetal.

It was pretty easy but it does take a day to get rid of all the bubbles

I just got my accessories today, cases, and one of my screen protector sets for the front. Still optimistic that money will be well spent on the Amzer tempered glass one. I will take one for the team and let you know how it goes.

You're our hero! The Amzer one is the one that everybody really wants to know about.

Does anyone know if the Illumishield does in fact cover the whole screen including the edges?

I used it. Its actually very usable with a few bubbles that it had

I received the Klear Cut ones, and they are going right back to Amazon. The image clearly gives the impression that it covers the entire screen, it does not. As for the Illumishield they won't be here until Friday which is not a good thing so now I need to order one for Tuesday, grrrrr.

So I guess its the spigen one that I didn't want to waste money on.
