S6 Edge Screen Protection

So far so good. Unless you look for the edge hard to tell its even there. If you look at it reflecting a light you can see a slight orange peel, but not bad. But it does cover the edge.

Hey there,

I am from Germany and have tested much S6 Edge screenprotector, even the one of spigen.
But now I really found a great one and want to share it with you because I already wasted much money and time with searching to find the best.

You have to search 'Caseday Nano Crystal' on the German Amazon platform.

And its only 14,90 €.
I can really recommend it to everyone, because its a very good film and precurved so it does what all the other 40$ real glass protector do, only much cheaper.
And also its the first 6H screenprotector for s6 Edge I have seen till now.
Suggestion: If you order from a another company than Germany, it would be better to order two of them, so if its not working with appling the first time, you have a second chance ;)

Really a great film

Has anyone tried the bodyguardz ultra tough? Its not glass but it does cover cover edge to edge i believe! Iam tempted to try it as its the best option available to me here! The only issue is its pretty expensive and i cannot find any reviews on it . I can only find reviews on they're protectors for other models! They have a youtube video demonstrating the different protectors they make and they look impressive

I have the Zagg HD Clear shield and the wallet cover for my edge.
Works and looks beautiful

Unfortunately i cannot get my hands on a zagg HD protector here unless i order it from the United states and the shipping is double the price of the product so feck that ha Went and ordered bodyguardz instead. They said if iam not satisfied within 30days they'll do a full refund. Hoping it arrives by Friday :-)

I wanted the Zagg protector but AT&T didn't have any when I got my Edge.

I have the bodyguardz ultra tough (clear) for my S6 Edge. Bought it at AT&T when I bought my phone. It does cover edge to edge - the film has a somewhat self-healing "gummy" texture but once it settles on the screen and you leave it on (the small bubbles will disappear in 24 hours) it looks great. The AT&T sales rep would not put it on for me - said he was worried about screwing up because of the curved edges - so I told him I would put them on when I got home - it was pretty easy. I like it - it's doing a good job protecting the screen :)

My bodyguardz arrived today. Haven't opened the packaging yet but noticed it says it can be applied using the gel included or it can be applied dry. Which is best? Why include gel if it's not needed?

I had skinomi on but didn't like it. Then I found Supershieldz . it's a dry install . it went on very easy, fits perfectly, not one bubble. It's crystal clear. Very happy with this one . came with two covers ,and I only used one because it went on so easy

It has to do the with "healing" process with the screen. My Zagg required solution however. Not sure why you have an option to not use it.

When it came to my installation, I just opted to use the old spray solution and not the gel solution.

Went ahead and applied the bodyguardz ultra tough screen protector today! Bare in mind this was literally my FIRST time EVER applying a screen protector and boy was it a nightmare lol

I opted to use the gel that came with it as it seemingly allows the screen protector to be moved into position so i figured it would make life easier for me but moving it was almost impossible without physically lifting the protector and then re placing so i found aligning it difficult. However although not perfect iam satisfied with its position! The second issue i ran into was that it would not stick to the left edge (the right edge seemed fine) After ages trying i got frustrated and decided i was going to peel the top layer and then press down the left side and hope for the best ..... luckily this actually worked and by the time i was finished the install both edges seemed well stuck!! As for bubbles theres virtually none. I have a tiny white spec of something in the bottom left that doesn't seem to be budging so i presume it somehow got under the protector but its not really bothersome to be honest! I also have a tiny micro bubble on the top left that doesn't seem to want to budge but iam more hopeful that will disappear in time (remember i only applied this like 45 minutes ago)

Over all i reckon those of you that have a little experience in applying these would be very happy with this screen protector. The edges seemed to have stuck well. Theres virtually no bubbles (which is impressive because it was my first time) and it is almost invisible aswell!

My only gripe is that in direct light it looks bad and looks as though it was applied poorly (it kinda looks wrinkly) but i have a feeling that will disappear the more it dry's/settles!

Over all i would recommend this protector! I was a little under the weather today and kept bloody sneezing when i was trying to apply this so my hands were not the steadiest but if you have a steady pair of hands and a little patience with aligning it then you will most likely (even if its your first time)..... be very happy with the outcome :)

Glad you like your screen protector keith molloy
I used mine without the gel - and worked out well too - so I guess it's just your preference.
The bubbles will go away, and the first couple of days you're going to touch the screen and feel the "gel-ly mushiness" (lol) and you may worry - but surprisingly after a few days the thing will settle, dry and that gel-ly surface seem to harden a bit. Now it doesn't even look like I have anything on my screen. I am happy with it and glad you're happy with yours too!

Yeah there's already a massive improvement after just a few hours. It looks perfect apart from one or two tiny specs that are barely noticeable. My only annoyance is that i didn't perfect the position of it around the cut outs otherwise i wouldn't even be able to tell it's on the screen at all ha

Def recommend this screen protector

Its been about 8 hours now since i applied the bodyguardz protector and iam very impressed with how quickly it has settled and dried! Only a few hours ago it looked a bit crappy under light and felt a little rubbery/ sticky to the touch but major improvement in just 8 hours! Heres some shots . . . . . . . . .

What brand did you get? There are only 2 that I can find on the market and I just ordered one of them so it better not suck. The pics wouldn't go larger so I can't tell what's wrong with yours.
