S6 Edge Screen Protection

STEVESKI07 - unrelated, but what app is that for the icons on the edge. I've tried sidebar app, doesn't seem to go on the edge like yours

I'm getting my S6 Edge in two days and I'm going to try the IQ Shield LiQuidSkin Screen Protector + Full Body. Case wise is between the Speck CandyShell Grip Case and Spigen Neo Hybrid but feeling like the Specks I'd what I'll get. I am keeping track of Raptor007's post because I am very interested in the Amzer Kristal but I personally wouldn't want to pay $40 for a pre-order.

So this is the one I ordered from Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/COVERAGE-iMac...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4512284

and it will be here on Monday and will let everyone know now it is. Amzer is now listing theirs to ship in July so that is an option as well.

I ordered one too, it got here today. Here are a few pics of the iMacket on my S6 edge. Quality of the pictures is not the best. I'll try to do better next time. Guess I should have held it to minimize the glare from the light.

I followed instructions, and peeled the liner off the inside of it and lined it up and put my finger on the center and pressed and I never saw the effect I see on videos of someone putting one on a S6, where you see a dark area spreading out once you press on it, mine stayed dark from top to bottom when I pushed down on the center with one finger.

So hopefully it did adhere the screen properly and I'll have no problems. Just to be safe, I layed a microfiber cloth on top and put some books on top to hopefully apply enough even pressure to allow the protector to adhere and stay on the screen. I didn't put too many books, just enough to hold the glass to the screen.

I don't know if I'll try it on my Speck candyshell case or not, with the record it has of peeling up the film screen protectors, wet or dry applied, I'm scared to try it on this, my luck it'll pull up the glass, even though the lip went completely over the protector.

Just out of curiosity, say it doesn't adhere very well.

I still have the spray from the Armorsuit wet install film I had on here before this glass. If the glass doesn't stay on after I take the books off, could I do a couple of light sprays of the armorsuit liquid on the inside of the glass protector and then put it on the S6 edge and push out the excess liquid? Or would that not work?

Hopefully I won't have any sticking problem and won't have to use the liquid, but was wondering if that would work or not.

Sorry if this has been said before - what are good case friendly ones? I had Skinomi and liked it, but every time I put my otterbox on the top/bottom peels up.

These do the trick for me.
Happy with both.
Screen protector fits well

What I didn't like about my spigen protector is that the sides on each of the curved edge started to collect dirt underneath it. So I just took the protector off.

I bought the Spigen full front Curved Crystal with rear protection as well. Fits nice and can't even tell its on it.

That's the one I got and it didn't cover the entire curve. It would also peel up. My only gripe about it. The flat surface looked amazing though

I had purchased the iMacket Tempered Glass for the Galaxy S6 Edge but I ended up returning it before ever putting it to use since I returned the S6 Edge to wait for something else. The phone is awesome, there are days that the size was too small and yet the right size too. Plus I just felt the curved sides didn't offer enough for me to warrant it. So sadly I don't have anything to report back on it.

That said I know Amzer has one for the Galaxy S6 Edge http://www.amazon.com/Amzer-Tempere...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4555925 I would say if you want to order one, do it from Amazon, because if you end up having issues with adhesion you can always get a refund from them since it would be defective. That way you are not out your money.

Hey guys, I'm definitely picking up an S6 in some form when it releases. The one I want is the Edge, but it seems like trying to keep the screen scratch free will be very difficult without using a crappy PET film screen protector. I have never had a phone, regardless of what number Gorilla Glass it has not scratch in some form. I live in Arizona and avoiding sand is very very difficult so pretty much every pocket will have 1 grain at least and thats all it takes to scratch even Gorilla Glass.

One of the videos I was watching showed the S6 edge on the MWC show floor already had a fair amount of scratches on the screen. So what are you guys gonna do since it seems like Tempered Glass screen protectors are most likely not going to be an option at least for a while, the Note Edge still doesn't even have one even.

For this reason alone I am leaning toward the regular S6 since tempered glass screen protectors will be abundant, but it's so hard to resist that edge.

What do you guys think about this/what will you do if you get the edge?

So I bought the edge, and an otterbox case as well as a screen protector for it
While trying to scrape all the bubbles from the screen protector, I managed to put a scratch across it. So they are not too protective. Also, the one thing that REALLY bugs me, is since the screen is curved on the sides, as soon as I put the otterbox case on, it immediately lifted up the screen protector. So it seems near impossible to get the screen protector tucked under the edge of the case. But I absolutely love the features of the edge. So I don't regret nothingggg

I'm scared this will ruin samsungs quality image. Broken and glass sliver fingers/hands everywhere. I was shocked when they released first specs. Holding out for awhile until reviews and real life things come about, off the showroom floor. Such as getting out of your vehicle forgetting it's in your lap (We've all done it) and hitting the edge just right on a pebble or bad parking lot asphalt.

~ take it all in

I use the urban armor gear for the s6 edge and am quite pleased with it. It's got a lip on the top and bottom as well as the base sides. I'm thinking of just getting a zagg protector or something for the screen till something else comes out. There is no way the screen is going to hit the ground and break unless you are on a gravel rd or drop it on a rock.

Just wanted to post that after several miserable experiences with screen protectors I found a glass one that does not have (much) screen sensitivity issues.
This one from the seller eachbright:
0 3mm Tempered Glass Pre Full Cover Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge | eBay
I have one spot in the upper left corner I have to press a little firmly with and some of the holes are a little off but I much prefer a glass protector for look and feel and I feel like I FINALLY have a decent one.
I was literally this close to trading my S6 Edge in on Amazon and getting the new moto X style...

Me on the other hand had a bad experience, looks crappy didn't stick well, also came in cracked.
