Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I got an email and a text from samsung sunday night that it has shipped, monday morning I got a text from fedex that its scheduled for wednesday delivery

Are people typically finding the tracking information shows first or their charge to the credit card?

Sometimes the final charge hits a bit later. It should hit your account later this week of early next week.

So where will the 454 come from? It's not in my account?

Wow... As noted I have an "arrive by 8th" with a charger "will ship March 4th" both still have cancel options and nothing yet. The wow was from going back to the Note 9 pre-order thread; what a disaster.

If it's not here by Friday (8th) will cancel or just refuse delivery and notify my credit card company and move on. That thread... just took all excitement away!!

I need a drink after reading that mess lol.

I tried that, they opened a case and I haven't heard back myself on it. Last time I did this with an accessory, it took 4 months for them to finally send it to me.

I started from the last page and worked my way back just searched "Samsung Note 9 pre-order androidcentral" seems the first batch was OK I guess, but seemingly random order on who got their device... then a few that pre-ordered immediately waited, received emails from Samsung changing the ship date back further and further.

Many ended up just ordering through Amazon with free next day delivery while pre-ordered devices took over a month AFTER release for any kind of shipping info or delivery.

Those that kept their orders through Samsung seemingly did to get trade-in credit off the Note 9. I'm sure there are people here that pre-ordered the Note 9 and could share I guess.

I was just curious about the timelines on orders, but did not expect that! Take a look if you really are up to it and have the spare time.

I did learn that I could avoid the taxes if I ordered through B&H. I'm just in wait and see mode for now, but really could save myself the money by either shopping another device or at least dropping to 512GB if there are any issues getting the device by Friday as expected. Will not be doing the waiting game with Samsung when the device will be available everywhere Friday with Amazon probably stocked up as well.

some of you get over excited about a phone, its a phone, same operating system you already have on your s9, similar to your s9..it will arrive..the funny thing is some of you who cant wait for it seem to have eyes bigger then your budget and send it back a few days or so after getting it...

And yet despite your comment people are still going to keep posting their excitement. Nothing wrong with that and no need to rob people of their joy regardless of their finances.

I will probably say the majority of the people here, aren't the ones worried about their budget. If they send it back it might be they just werent happy with the device. While it is the same for some people. A lot of us are excited because were on a two gen old phone, which honestly is crazy calling it old. My brother is upgrading from the s7 edge and ill get the note 10 and ill be upgrading from a note 8.

Same here, I am coming from the S7 which has been running poorly for awhile now so I am VERY excited for the new phone. Comments like his don't make me any less excited haha

No it's FedEx 2Day. There is no Express in front.

FedEx has 2 divisions that deliver to your home. FedEx "Express" and FedEx "Ground". There is no division called FedEx 2Day. It's either Express or Ground. I assumed 2 day delivery was Express, but I have been surprised by how quickly some packages come through my terminal, based on the customers response when I deliver their package, that they had just ordered the item the day before or two days before.
