Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Unlocked white s10+ with earbuds. The earbuds say it will ship with device.

Order was placed feb 22nd... Ship by date is 3/15...

No movement as of today.

My husband ordered the S 10 plus Prism White unlocked his still says 3/15 also
 
My husband ordered the S10 plus 128 prism white on the 22nd it was like 1am and his still says the 15th and he still has the cancel button. I logged out and tried to order the same as a guest oh and his is unlocked and it says sold out it's not available right now and my unlocked flamingo that I am getting from Best Buy says 3/15 so I am hoping Best Buy has it on Friday they said they expected too but it depended on how many they got in.
Yep. Demand is much higher than last year for the S9. Hopefully they will be able to restock quickly. This year was more exciting than last year.

I know It's crazy! My husband is still on the Note 8 unlocked no pie my 9 plus just got pie a week or so ago. I am off Friday and really hoping mine is in. It's ok if he has to wait a little longer cause he gets a free case and earbuds delivered with phone. But he is anxious to get it but I think I am more anxious. I come to the forums every morning and night and like reading what everyone has to say and I know people will get there's early from the carriers. Hopefully it will be a good year for Samsung. I keep checking my husbands Samsung account for the cancel button to be gone no such luck and now that the white isn't available I don't expect him to get his early.

It's tough to say. They won't update a delivery date if more inventory is in the pipeline and will hit the warehouse tomorrow. They will err on the side of conservatism to avoid disappointing customers. But it's possible that the phone may ship out earlier.
 
Ugh woke up to nothing new. My order, which was made on 2/25 still gives me the option to cancel and there's nothing on Fed Ex. Just the Prism White 128 US Cellular model.
 
If you don't have a FedEx account setup already, you should. FedEx notified me earlier today, even before I started looking on this site to see people where getting the same notifications.

FedEx and UPS are good accounts to have setup with your address.

I ship everything to work, no one to sign for anything at home. We have an entire receiving department that will deliver packages to my desk.
 
Where can I get a door tag at? Just in case I'm not home on Wednesday.

The FedEx driver will leave it on your door when they attempt delivery. When you get home, at the bottom, print and sign your name, then leave it on your front door. Thursday when the driver sees the door tag, he will leave your package.
 
Mine still says it was picked up by Fedex but no movement since Monday. But it still says "Scheduled delivery: Wednesday 3/06/2019 by 8:00 pm"
 
Did you order thru Samsung or your carrier?

I'm pretty sure only the samsung.com orders actually ship with the headphones. Everyone else has to submit a request for them through the samsung app after they get the phone. And since they are now doing the certificate instead, it is likely only the samsung.com orders that will actually see those earbuds any time soon.

It will certainly make people think twice about ordering from carrier in the future if they want the pre-order bonus. I can't think of what else I would want from Samsung for $130 in accessories.

I'm in the same boat. I had hoped to see some movement when I woke up this morning. I'm hoping that I will still get it tomorrow and not have to wait until Thursday...either way, I will somehow live...barely.

It's really strange that samsung charged my card for the case but not the phone yet. Anyone else having their order broke down into different charges. My phone has shipped but still no charge for the phone

Yes. I have a charge for the phone and a separate charge for the case. They both went through yesterday for effectively the full amount I was due to pay. Not sure why they took on the extra cost of two card swipes. Seems like there could be a good way for a consultant to go in there and help them save thousands per year on transaction fees.
 

I watch the S and Note series preorder threads every release, but I always go in store on release day for my Note. Thinking about going the pre order route this year.

What are the advantages of pre-ordering through Samsung vs carriers (AT&T)? It'll be a straight purchase; no trade in or installments. Impatiently waiting for the Note 10 shenanigans!

IF there is a pre-order bonus, you usually get that shipped with your order. You don't wait to get the phone and then submit for the bonus. Samsung gave us an extra $50 in accessories credit during the pre-order purchase. The $550 trade-in for last year's model wasn't too bad either.

I've done it both ways and just go for whichever one will net me the best deal. I did the Note 9 deal through Tmobile because they gave me a great deal on my S8+ (one of many that I got for free for moving to TMobile a couple years ago). Plus I got a $300 pair of AKG wireless headphones from T-Mobile. If the bonus items are in stock, you usually get them within a week of submission (at least for me that has been the case).

So just go for the best combo deal across samsung and your carrier. This time, the deal was best going straight through samsung for me.
