Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Has anyone who received their phone this week receive their buds too? My phone is being delivered tomorrow but on my order on Samsung Shop, it didn't show the buds being shipped yet! They were supposed to ship with the device per my order.

I got my S10+ on Tues and my buds where not shipped.

The s10 phones cane in just the box, just like that. No tape, no seals, and no sleeve for the box to go in as previous models.

Mine had four circular pieces of tape, two on each side, sealing the box closed. Verizon S10 ordered from Samsung. In the early batch delivered on the 3/6.

They had to open them to put the SIM cards in. My AT&T Flamingo had tape on one side and there was a new SIM card shoved in the box. I didn’t use the sim though, not going to get stuck with a bogus activation fee so I just used my old sim. Now Samsung keeps emailing me to activate...LOL

I activated mine through Verizon chat before I started getting the Samsung emails to Activate through them. I've wondered if I need to do anything so that Samsung knows it's activated.

Did you guys buy them thru device payment program or did you buy it out right. I haven't gotten any reminders to activate. I paid retail for mine, o wouldn't think Samsung would care what I do with the phone, they have their money.

This has me a little worried as mine has just shipped.

As soon as I brought the box in, I looked at the top and honestly, I have never seen a package arrive like this did. I opened the box and immediately held it to make sure it felt like there was a phone in there. There was one piece of circular tape on the bottom of the box where it was sealed at the factory so I knew the phone was not opened.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the shipping box now. I was only concerned about making sure I actually got the phone.

Bought mine out right. Activated at a Sprint store. I got two reminders from Samsung but nothing in the past few days.

My case for my S10+ should be here tomorrow. It was delayed due to the storm here in Denver. I was using my phone just now and kept feeling a rough edge on the top of the phone around the trim on the top right corner. I brought it under the light and could see that Samsung applied clear protective tape to protect the finish all the way around the phone. There's three pieces of it so you have to look very closely to see where to peel it off.

Now it feels smooth like it should be.

Why would it be a used phone? It's a new model. It hasn't been out long enough for them to have used phones to sell.

I don't know, maybe not. But what else would explain the horrible packing job?

At least Verizon puts huge honking clear stickers on each side of the box to hold it shut.

I could have sworn I saw that the S10 has faster battery charging. I'm looking around and not seeing that confirmed. Anyone know? We are moving from the S8.

I just charged my S10+ for the first time and it took about 90 minutes fast charging with the cable. That's about the same time as my Note 9 and S9+.
