Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I'm shocked Tmobile even had two watches in stock. Almost all the stores I've seen only have a display unit and you have to order it. Anyway, the carrier stores tend to not carry a lot of phones in stock at the store but get shipments just about everyday. I guess for overhead reasons and also theft reasons as well. Cell stores are known to be robbed for their phones.

You'd think those no guns signs at the entrance of every T-Mobile store would prevent these crimes.

LOL. I didn't notice any of those no gun signs at the stores when I lived in St. Louis or here in FL. Those stores most of them are franchises though. Unless you live in a state where it's a crime to carry in a posted place then just carry away. In Missouri I ignored those signs as well as here in FL.

Other than the mall store I've only been in one other tmobile store down here when I exchanged my note 7 they were the only one with an edge in stock and I got screwed over with that whole return fiasco. Since then I no longer order phones from tmobile. I order them from Samsung.com but since Amazon now carries unlocked at launch I will use them next time probably.

But I got my premium care active for a phone I don't have yet! I'm about to cancel that thing till I get the phone. Wasn't expecting it to take this long last phone I preordered was a S8+ and got it earlier than I expected from Samsung while I was overseas. My order and ship dates were the same btw. Ordered on the 14th email said ship during the week of the 26th, longest week of my life.

APP says backorder for the Note, Order Placed for the N60 sense the 18AUG. Site says preorder for the Note. Supposed to shipped today.

Honestly if it was me still waiting for the phone, I would have already lost complete interest. Thank god for other places where I could get it earlier (Amazon). Samsung.com sucking on fulfilling orders in a reasonable time as usual.

Was supposed to shipped today... now they dont know when.

Just got off the phone wiht Samsung. They said the phone will ship sometimes this week. The phone order is being fulfilled whatever that means. About to cancel.

Mine and tfou79 were supposed.to ship last week. Nothing other than cancel button disappearing and changing from backorder to preorder. Still not shipped though.

Somehow I've been getting different dates than you guys have. Ordered the 19th, but they say I ordered the 20th. I have emails to show I ordered the 19th. They said it was suppose to ship week of Aug 23rd. On the evening of the 27th the status changed to backordered in the Shop Samsung App. As I posted earlier, I called last week and they told me it'll ship the week of Sept 6th. T-Mo blue 512. I'll let you guys know what they say when I call next week to figure out wtf.

Same here. I got my order confirmation email on 8/10 but in the app it says order placed on 8/11. I suspect they can't give out more precise info because fulfillment is being processed by a third party company.

I was told mine will ship this week. Status on the app is backordered and on the website it's pre-order

I got a receipt email on the 14th and an invoice email on the 15th. Site says I ordered the 14th. I don't remember as I was in Japan when I ordered. I believe I ordered night of the 14th there which would have been early morning here.

The problem here is the lack of communication.

And now the inability of communication, as they have removed the chat functionality. Which must have been done through a "hot fix" because the devs have no idea.
