I called UPS as mine is miles away at their facilit hoping to pick it up. I was told that Sprint has a hold on them for no pickups nor deliveries until 9/5.

you're right for you. my rate is lower hence higher pay-off.

nice. I don't do leases. personal preference. I chose installment. if I want another phone before the end I'll pay it off. I prefer to own.

Personally I have never leased anything including a car, that way if I want to cut it up no one can complain

I used to feel the same way, but then I did my first lease with Sprint and realized that at the end of the lease you can pay it off anytime you want and own the phone or turn it in. if anything it gives more options because you don't have to own it if you don't want it but if you do you can. versus when you purchase it you have only 1 option which is to own it.

My note arrived approximately 4 hours away from where I live and it will not arrive until 9/5 by end of day. can't complain though 10 days before release is good business to me! pre-orders should come several days before the masses have access. my S6 edge and note 7 pre-orders if I remember correctly came only a day or two before launch day. So I'm OK with 9/5!

You aren't getting it until tomorrow. Sprint has a hold on them until 9/5 regardless of how close it is. Also today is a national holiday.
