Sprint ONE April 19th

Let us know how it goes. Since it's already gone out, it's probably too late for Sprint to expedite the shipping to overnight.

I talked with Sprint, via chat, and they were absolutely no help at all (not blaming them per se either). They just recommended I call UPS for clarification since the email and the site have conflicting shipping methods / time. He also said that the UPS might update later today with different information, but dunno...

Oh well, like I said to the Sprint person, it would suck that pre-ordering ends up being punishment instead of a reward. Especially when AT&T pre-orders have been delivered already, even for people who ordered 2 days ago.. Grrrr... Why does Sprint make it harder and harder to actually stay with them? Why do they push us loyal customers away? [Last two questions come with over-drama effects :) ]
 
Mine says shipped today... overnight PM. When I go to UPS tracking they say Monday the 22nd.

If and when it arrives on Monday... I'm calling Sprint to refund both my shipping fee and my activation fee or I'm canceling my contract.

Mine shows shipped today 2nd day air as well.. But that just depends where it's being shipped out of exactly... Even state to state shipments commonly are delivered in 1 day by UPS ground shipping if you are lucky... Unless it's going clear across the country you have a good shot at getting it Friday via 2nd day air.

Similar to mine, yeah.
 
Mine says it was originally scheduled for Monday delivery and is "scheduled for early delivery" on Friday.

Just talked to UPS, and like we all think, the earliest we'll get our Ones is Monday if they're coming 2nd day air.
Why did I preorder again? I could have driven 90 minutes to my closest Sprint corporate store on Saturday to upgrade.
Only way Sprint is going to learn is if we all gripe.
 
Yeah, hopefully we are jumping the gun, I saw this: "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

It sounds like we are just receiving an automatic form status that is conservative to be on the safe side, but will then get updated to the actual shipping priority.
 
A couple of hours ago, I found the shipping email in my spam folder (sent 1:44 a,m. Mountain time). Nothing showed up when I tracked it through UPS then, but I checked just now, and the tracking comes up with the same "end of day on Monday" delivery time mentioned in earlier posts. I ordered on the 11th, which I realize is much later than many folks here, but it wasn't last minute by any stretch. I have the same "Overnight: Next Day PM" message on the email, so I'm hopeful it's actually arriving tomorrow, but now I'll need to make a point of working from home on Friday, and if it doesn't arrive, doing the same on Monday. Thinking this really should have gone smoother, but given that I'm still waiting on something other than super-slow 3G here in Denver, it seems par for the course.

I hope Sprint did the right thing and upgraded to overnight. They said April 19. I know I should be grateful for free shipping but 3 days late?
 
Why are we assuming these were sitting on a pallet at a Sprint warehouse collecting dust until this morning?

Looks like we've been gimped, Sprint showing it was Next Day air. But it's actually 2nd Day air... :-!

Here's hoping it the arrival date changes to Friday like everyone says it does.
 
Once the label is created the deliver dates are updating. Just checked on 2 orders and it shows schedule for Friday.. just as the above screenshot shows.

Hope you're enjoying the weather in St. Pete, Scott. (I worked for the Times for about 20 years.) It's 29 degrees here in Denver, but I won't care as long as I get my phone by tomorrow. :)

I changed my mind... I'm too tired and annoyed to do anything right now. I'm hoping to wake up tomorrow morning & see an update saying "out for delivery" on my phone package tracker. If not, this ticking time bomb of fury will be calling to express my displeasure...
