Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st***
Well, the sales numbers were relatively bad. Over 600,000 of that number was in the manufacturer's home country of S Korea, and how many of the remaining were Sprint? so I stand by the comment that there weren't that many to update per tower. I've never seen another G2 in use in public, and nearly everyone I see using their phone is sporting an iphone or a samsung. It's a great phone, but for whatever reason, people seemed to choose those lesser phones over the one we smartly chose. The main complaints were the built in battery, 16gb with no microSD, buttons on back, LG's notoriously slow updates, and price. I think the battery lasts a long time and should last as long as I wish to use it, 16gb is more than enough for 90% of folks, the buttons become routine and are better placed, yes it's taking time to get the update, and the price was free on Cyber Monday, and cheap all around that time frame. They actually paid me to take the G2, because I got it on Thanksgiving Thur, and called in Monday night and said I was very disappointed to see they lowered the price and didn't intend to refund the difference like stores do now when they lower prices right after you buy, and the mgr gave me a credit which actually made me have a plus account balance.
Yeah, because over two million phones is almost nothing...
