T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

I'm on jump 2 so basically I got to pay off at least half my phone to upgrade and on top of that I have to pay off the taxes and a down payment for the new device

I had my s8+ on "Jump!" Tmobile let me order the Note 8 on my same lime as Jump on Demand, and just removed Jump! From the S8+

Correction I almost forgot. I ordered the LG G6 as Jump on Demand about 3 weeks ago, specifically to Jump into the Note 8. Keeping my S8+, it goes to regular EIP, and the Note 8 will be the one I jump to from the G6. Keeping S8+ as a really good backup

Got the "Coming soon" text hopefully they ship early as a thanks to the note 7 debacle. We will see.

if there's anybody like me who's trying to avoid a down payment for the new Note 8 I just came back from a local T-Mobile retail store and they told me to sign up for a program called sync up which is basically plug-in like all state that you put into your car it's an additional $12 a month and with that it's basically like opening up a new line and you could actually order the Galaxy Note 8 down on the new Jump program. You will still have to make continuing payments on your original device but it's a program that you could keep on for a couple months and cancel at anytime

That's smart. If I had thought of that I'd of done that too. I used to have to pay half down so now $210 doesn't feel like so much.

That's what the sales rep told me in-store I was a little skeptical I'm actually going to go back in a few, I'll let everybody know if it works

What exactly did you ask for? Is it JOD? Do I ask for the Sync Up device and then say I want a Note 8 on that line too?

I can confirm if you're with T-Mobile and you want to upgrade to the Note 8 without a down-payment ask for sync up, with that program basically what they do is open a new line it's only $12 a month they give you a device that you plug into your car and it gives you eligibility to upgrade to the Note 8 zero down no taxes just pay for shipping like I just did right now ☺

Actually getting charged doesn't mean much either. They have a history of charging cards and waiting 4 or 5 days to actually ship.

Ask for sync up but tell them you want to use that line to upgrade to the Note 8

Glad you found something that worked but you just paid $35 for the SyncUp plus $12 /month for it to work. They just sold you another line of service.
