T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Since my order was placed today around 1pm at point will I or should I start getting UPS information? I'm far from the most of you who already has a tracking number. So maybe tomorrow sometime I'll get something. Also will they charge my bank account when they ship or when they process a tracking number?
I preordered 8 24. I've had a ups tracking since 8.30
 
They thought I was still PartiallyPreOrder cause of my color, but nope. I was called about a card being declined but I immediately called it to fix it and they said it went through. I'm stumped and annoyed.

I would guess something may still be messed up with the card but you may need to contact them again to figure it out, maybe try the chat option instead of calling, I didn't have any luck getting my order in calling, they were terrible.

Chat is just as bad. It's a shame that the customer experience has gone so downhill in the past couple years.
 
For what it's worth, my response from T-Mobile on Twitter

Okay awesome! I appreciate you allowing me the time to look over the information on your order to make sure that everything is processing correctly. We want you to get your device in your hands ASAP! I checked into order # ********** and everything is processing successfully. If an order has successfully processed, the next step before getting it shipped out is that a shipping label has been created, which it has been with your tracking number *******************. This means that it can literally ship anytime so I would check this tracking number when you wake up and right before bed so you'll know exactly what's going on with this order. :) *JennaLundh
Typical generic response. I got very similar one on Tmobile Facebook messenger

Still nothing new waiting on UPS. I am not happy to say the least. Everyone else has tracking progress. Nope not T Mobile. Pissed.

I haven't even moved from PartiallyPreOrder. I don't even have a phone assigned to me. Be lucky you're at least in this stage. They've botched this launch badly.
 
I've had this happen before with UPS and TMO. The status stays the same until it hits my door. Considering I have three phones, I'm watching this like a hawk.

I must have been lucky, ordering the phone via chat was much better than my 2 attempts calling. Only benefit to calling was I got a $15 bill credit for their inability to type in my payment information correctly to finish the order. Only annoying thing about chat was she said "cool beans" a hundred times.

Really? Doesn't show picked up u til it delivers? That's scarey.....im not home u til Thursday/Friday. I better Mark mine hold at ups.

Just updated mine to be held at the one Local UPS that has later evening hours _ 7pm and Saturday hours. Realistically I'm 600 miles from home so I don't want them dropping it off at my door. Even if I were home Is hold for pickup at UPS

Yes. It happened when I ordered the Note 7. Maybe it's a note thing. Haha. Other phones have tracked properly.

They said they fixed my card. Now I'm on Twitter DMs and they said they have yet to get approval. I'm so annoyed.
