T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Sitting at home right now waiting on delivery. I passed by a UPS truck going thru my neighborhood and was sooo tempted to stop and ask if he had already been by my house

Well it's been 2 days with the note 8 so far, and I have to say that this thing is amazing. Obviously it's a little faster than the S8 plus, which is saying a lot because the S8 plus was pretty dang fast. However I have to say that the dual camera is quite impressive. Tonight I am leaving for a weekend trip out of town, and I've loaded up some movies for the plane flight. This is going to be a good test of the battery life.

Delay on both phones

Called UPS it said weather. It has not even hit here. Won't until tomorrow night. I don't know if UPS will even try tomorrow & that means Tuesday or Wednesday.

I am not a happy camper.

I hear that. Got my phone on Wednesday, just put the SIM in today and started carrying it.

Using Smart Switch via USB was the way to go. Extremely fast. Me likes.

Out for delivery 330 - 7pm. Arrived 6:53 pm. Nice new phone off charging display , not sure if its the same as the S8 ... phone came with 70% full charge.

Previous fast charger and USB-C cable from Note 7 kit working fine.

finally arrived! too bad i have to charge it up first. only had 30% battery

Mine had 76%
Also took me an hour to setup everything. This phone is amazingly fast!

Jeez, so I posted in severe anger that UPS wimped out on me yesterday. I have 2x Note 8's coming. All day UPS said as of 9am, "Out on truck for delivery". Then around 6pm both showed "DELAYED" - UPS wimped out.

This morning.
Phone #1 Status: Delay
Phone #2 Status: There is an embargo on the destination country, and the package will be returned to the sender.

OK, we have a nasty storm headed my way, I am in the Tampa area. Even if we get seriously messed up(quite a possibility) I don't think the country I love will disown us. I thought you got over hanging chads years ago.

I have resolved myself to the knowledge I will not see the phones until Wednesday at the earliest. This is my penance for not doing Next Day Air. So I will rock Irma with a S7, it is water resistant in case the roof goes.

I still don't have mine either. I got an update that it was delivered to the post office. Wasn't there yesterday. I guess it was delivered to the main post office and then will go to the underlying cities, where my p.o. box is. Maybe today, I'll check later around noon when they're open and after late sorting, in case it requires a signature. Or it'll be Monday after work.

Reminder to me: never deliver to a PO Box. Pick up would be quicker.
