I got my Note 8 from T-Mobile on Wednesday sent off for my free gift Gear 360 and it has already shipped FedEx says I will have it by Tuesday next week.

For some reason UPS is not letting me change delivery, says the address doesn't match the name or address on the package. I know everything on my UPS is correct. Thankfully my brother is going to be on the lookout for it.

Apparently T-Mobile has instructed UPS not to make any address changes for delivery of these phones. The sales associate omitted the apartment number from my shipping address, and to fix it I had to call T-Mobile and they had to get UPS in a conference call with both of us.

Jeez, so I posted in severe anger that UPS wimped out on me yesterday. I have 2x Note 8's coming. All day UPS said as of 9am, "Out on truck for delivery". Then around 6pm both showed "DELAYED" - UPS wimped out.

This morning.
Phone #1 Status: Delay
Phone #2 Status: There is an embargo on the destination country, and the package will be returned to the sender.

OK, we have a nasty storm headed my way, I am in the Tampa area. Even if we get seriously messed up(quite a possibility) I don't think the country I love will disown us. I thought you got over hanging chads years ago.

I have resolved myself to the knowledge I will not see the phones until Wednesday at the earliest. This is my penance for not doing Next Day Air. So I will rock Irma with a S7, it is water resistant in case the roof goes.

It seems that way. I submitted for the camera on Wednesday, FedEx picked it Friday, scheduled for delivery on Tuesday.

This may be a really dumb question: when registering on T-Mobile for the BOGO Note 8 promotion, do you use the phone number of the new line?

Did you order through Samsung.com or Tmobile? I can't imagine they're on backorder already, especially with you having ordered over a week ago.

I wonder if they are concerned that folks that are receiving UPS packages in your area might have had to evacuate?

I haven't heard exact sales numbers, but apparently they are reporting that preorder sales have surpassed any in the past.
