It sounds like they're not shipping the phones overnight or air. Why are they shipping them ground?
The important thing to see is the "delivery BY the 19th" means it could be anytime between now and then

Technically I guess I got charged the day I ordered. I was doing an upgrade and signing up for JOD at the same time. The rep had to charge me some kind of 20 buck fee, which he credited back the next day. On my account it says it's for Assisted Services whatever that means.

Anything is possible but there is no reason to get all worked up since some got a text and some didn't. If you see a charge it's coming but they have to process them all so it won't be one mass text

If you look at your order details under Transaction, where it shows the tax, the upgrade charge, down payment, etc..It shows on mine $14.99 on the other side it has "delivery" and that shows USPS priority. That is what made me call. So, they gave me $14.99 for that, and when it didn't change to USP Overnight, they gave me another $14.99...Now, I will be in sweetwater if they do send it UPS overnight. I am a cranky old man, I complain about everything..
So, they might have just given it to me to shut me up.. But, I did make my case very well, and showed them that it was THEIR mistakes on both counts. A persuasive essay.. Those texts are scripted. Every pre-order says it will arrive by launch day. Mine is definitely next day air saver.
I have my text turned off. No worries. Don't want tmo bothering me. All the excitement and worry over nothing. Ppl it's happening, this isn't child birth

Get worked up about shipping confirmation. Then get excited. Or for the ppl that may be delayed. Worry about getting nothing.
