T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note7 Ordering Information

Just got off the phone with T-Mobile. Phone isn't coming today. Y'all got my hopes up with this stupid thread - but I should have just trusted the text message I received over the weekend.

Their system says "Shipped" and they created all the labels and everything to "get ready" for when they get the phones in so everything is ready to ship out immediately.

The texts we all should have gotten say this:

"Get ready! The Samsung Galaxy Note7 releases next week. We're packing your T-Mobile order # over the weekend and will start shipping for delivery by 8/19. You'll see a shipping notification but it may take several days for tracking info to be available"

They weren't kidding when they sent that text. So they charged our accounts and printed the labels (which triggers a shipped status all throughout their systems), but they haven't gotten the phones yet. So nothing went out. This is what I was told when I called, and I tend to believe it.

The phones did not move last night because either UPS has not received them or they are being instructed to deliver at a later date, so they are being held. If they do get released to ship today, expect to see an origin scan as early as this afternoon or by later tonight. If they still do not ship today, then TMO is holding them back for the release date. TMO has a history of shipping early, but that may not continue to be the case in the future if Samsung prohibits them. Hope for the best right now. Conventional wisdom goes out the window if the phones are not released to ship yet.
I posted about this last week. I had said that when Samsung talked to me about when my phone would be shipped (they have to get it from TMO) I said maybe I'll get it early since TMO ships early.

The person I was talking to said, "yes they release them a lot earlier than we wanted". I could not tell of she was simply acknowledging TMO shipped early or id the answer was a but snarky and that was a "hint" they were going to make sure TMO didn't release early.

Especially since there aren't contracts anymore, I could see other carriers complaining of TMO kept releasing really early and Samsung did nothing. Samsung and the carriers all sign an agreement about releasing early and a carrier can be, at a minimum, fined. I said last week "I hope this wasn't a subtle hint that Samsung was seriously putting the brakes on TMO releasing too early".

I'll mention again. I'm not a troll. Let's focus on the issue here were trying to figure out when our phones will be in. I'll be glad to post any updates I get. I'm really hoping ups will provide more info later on today.

Sounds about right, and is what we're all noticing. We'll be lucky to get them a day or two before the 19th at this point.

Ha, I am the last person that should be rushing this thing.

I am still in the HOSPITAL!! :D,

I want them to move it to in transit so I can redirect to the hospital room or leave at the UPS store close to me. But, I have all the Note 7 goodies with me. Case, Temp Glass, 200gb SD card, back up 115 gbs off my Note 4, I am ready to roll. Just as I was typing this, the docs told me they are keeping me longer..Dam..now, I really got to redirect to my room.. Well, at 75, you can't have everything... :)

Your getting too old for sky diving. :D

Tmo and ups is being stupid. Normally ups doesn't show an estimated delivery until they actually receive a package. They don't typically generate that until package in hand. Since you could generate a label and not ship for up to a week .

Very true but I do have a legitimate issue with them charging my card before it shipped when they told me it wouldn't happen till it shipped.
The TMO site says "charged she processed to ship". They were processing and they would have to run payments through before they printed labels and pulled orders. They did that Friday and Saturday. They would have to run payments through and then get a batch that went through, processed to ship.
