Charged! (pending I think) 97 dollars for "t-mobile upgrade", blue coral, California, ordered the night of release although order didn't go through successfully until past midnight because of incompetent t-mobile reps on the phone! Also says usps

That's interesting that yours says USPS...as have a few others. As far as I can remember, Tmo has never used USPS for major preorder releases. Or otherwise for that matter. It's always been UPS. Maybe they have indeed expanded their shipping providers. That would be a good thing. It's possible some could get it this weekend, if they're close enough to Lexington and UPS is not delivering theirs etc.

Mine says USPS Priority Mail. I know in my area, UPS does the shipping then hands it over to USPS for final delivery. I've seen it many times with Amazon orders.
Thats different though, thats UPS select or something like that (I get that too), but that is actually an economy method, so I don't think that applies here... I think it is just an error in the system

Am I the only one who always gets stuff from UPS on Saturdays?

Well it depends on what service the sender is using ...UPS or any other courier doesn't shut down on weekends. It's business lol

T-Mobile uses next day air saver which is only Mon - Fri delivery.

This was mentioned earlier, but I thought I'd reiterate. There's a promo code to UPS My Choice Premium that gets you a year at $10. BVZR8O4S4
There's another one for 3 months for $3.

This post is in regards to the tablet offer people have mentioned. I just got done with a chat and was told I would have to cancel my 8/3 pre-order and order again as the promotion didn't start until 8/5 which I didn't do. The rep stated that in the terms of the promotion both the phone and tablet have to be purchased at the same time and you have to sign up for a minimum 1GB data plan for the tablet. I asked if I could later change the data plan do the Data On Demand to truly make the tablet free and he said no and that it is clearly stated in the terms of the promotion and if you accept the offer you are agreeing to the terms of the promotion. He sent me to this page: Samsung Phone Deals | Samsung Phone & Tablet Offer | T-Mobile If you to to the very bottom there is a "Questions about Samsung offers?" section, click on the "What is this Samsung Tab E / Tab A on Us promotion?" section for all the details. I know one member said they got the rep to add the tablet even though they didn't purchase them at the same time so it may be hit or miss on the rep you get. As far as the data package is concerned, it's pretty clear that you are agreeing to the terms so not sure you will be able to get away with changing it to Data On Demand. Only reason I say that is T-Mobile has to make some money back on the tablet so it would make sense. Anyways, just thought I'd share. I already have a Samsung tablet but who would pass up on a free one!

My Bank Account was just charged for my upgrade!!! No change on the T-Mobile site (still says processing), but I assume this means my Note will ship today!!

so this is the first time I preordering a phone. Did we need to buy a new sim card or do we use our one from our currant note phone?

So I see T-MO people saying they've been charged and might mean their phones are shipping. Would a similar situation happen for AT&T? I don't remember if I've been charged yet for my upgrade and should I be expecting a charge on AT&T that could indicate it's shipping?

No AT&T and Verizon ship before release day or a day or two early based on past release ... T-Mobile customers are privileged
