I honestly can't wait for them to charge me. First time I ever want anything out of my account

I was hoping they would follow the same pattern as the S7 edge release. I had my phone in hand the Monday after pre-orders went live. I was hoping that would be the case with Note 7 as well, but barring a miracle I don't think I will be receiving the Note 7 on Monday as I had hoped.

My order through Samsung direct gives status as "Preparing Order for Shipment", but I don't take that to really mean anything about shipping date.

Normally when they hit the back order phase they start shipping early pre-orders out. From what I see and hear they are also cancelling orders. So keep a look out on your emails.

Not sure where you're seeing T-Mobile backordered. Site is still showing 8/18-8/19 for shipping. I took a pic but for some reason I can't post it.

I called to check on my order. Other forums people are saying they are getting cancelation/backorder emails. Rep also said they are on back order as of today.

Same here. When did you order Charlie? I doesn't say backordered on my account. I order right before noon on 8/4 one day after they went on sale for order. Should I be safe? I just checked my account again and still says will be shipped 8/18.

Is it certain colors? I ordered in store around noon on 8/4 and mine isn't backordered. I ordered black btw. And that would be BS if the system didn't tell them it was backordered. I'd be livid.

As of today. I think if you ordered on the 3rd or 4th you should be good. It's 7pm where I am. I just called not too long ago.

Yes, I ordered on the 4th, noon eastern time and my account still says 8/18 or 8/19 You said that means pre orders might be getting ready to ship soon. Does that mean I might get mine around mid week possibly you think now?

if I were you I'd give them an earful. You ordered only 3 days after it was released and that's BS if they took peoples orders and the system allowed them to. Do they only have like 10,000 units or something? Why isn't the other phone companies having that problem then?
