Those who upgraded "unlimited".

I've been keeping an eye on my legacy unlimited plan every couple days "just in case" until my first post-Note 3 bill arrives from AT&T.

Good idea... Hang on to unlimited as long as you all can! :P.

Some people from other forums have stated that the unlimited is only going to be good for the 2 yr contract. Once the contract is done they are going to automatically be switched to tiered data.

This wouldn't surprise me.

I got a G2 and Note3 during glitch, the G2 invoice did show Unlimited but couldn't activate phone thru phone process and website wanted me to choose a Shared Plan. Called VZW and guy too wanted to get rid of my Unlimited, told him about the glitch and he put me on hold. After that, he said he had to drop me to 2GB plan to activate new phone but would work to get my Unlimited feature back. 24hrs later I got text saying it was back, and then he called me back too to confirm. Yesterday my wife's N3 arrived, the invoice said 2GB plan. Hers did activate using the phone, I called VZW to confirm she kept Unlimited and the process was so much smoother. Lady had me on hold, came back and was done. Way easier 2nd time around.

They tried to do the same thing to me last night when I activated. I called retention and then asked for a supervisor. Sent her my order confirmation and she fixed my plan. Want happy that Verizon tried to change my plan upon activation without my approval. The only reason I even knew was because after the phone got activated and I set up my Google account, I started getting texts saying I was over my data allowance. I am at 12GB this month already ;)

I couldn't convince Verizon to give me back my unlimited data plan. I tried looking for the e-mail confirmation that was sent to me with the unlimited, but I can't find it. Can someone e-mail me or post a pic of their receipt or email confirmation that shows they are getting the unlimited? Then I can show Verizon the email/receipt. I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

LOL I didn't expect to see so many to have the "2 gigabytes of fright" moment. I went in the store w/ $800(extra was for a case or a morphie and a past due bill) thinking outright purchase was my predicament, since my current 2yr ends in Nov. rep did some activation swaparoo trickery thanks to an eligible upgrade from another line. I didn't think we had an upgrade available and I sure didn't think they were still allowing that stuff once all us "grandpas" went month to month to remain freebirds. Dude chuckled when he saw why I was adamant about buying off contract(72GB last month and 67GB halfway through this month already) reassured me I could still keep unlimited paying the subsidized price. Got home, finished setup and saw My Verizon had me as 2GB on the widget. With a slight case of butterflies of the gut variety. I called Big Red thinking I got duped, thankfully they told me I was still granpa'd. Glad I got a break on the price, although I can say that this phone would've been worth every penny I had originally planned on dropping for it. Fast and so damn smooth, I don't think I'm even gonna bother rooting this thing anytime soon. No biggie since I still have my Beats from my Rezound but I was a little miffed that VZW didn't include the headphones. Easy to see why in the corp. store, skull candy and other aftermarket earbuds galore. Kinda lame but oh well.

That's what they told me , their records indicate I'm still unlimited even though it momentarily .appeared otherwise, phew

God, I was literally pissing myself when I logged onto the Verizon site and it showed me on a 2GB plan. I immediately went into live chat, and forwarding them a copy of my original e-mail receipt seemed to have done the trick. They say that I should have my unlimited data restored within 48 hours.

I'm also in the same boat with the wait 48 hours issue. Should it not go back to unlimited they will definitely be hearing from me again.

I called up they had me fixed in about half an hour on the phone

45 minutes on phone for me. Had to send them my order confirmation and a link to the android central article that had the Verizon statement saying they would honor the upgrades. Have unlimited now. Just call and provide the info and you should be all set.
