Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

I just called China and asked when the Thunderbolt would be shipping, they told me immediately and they are using new technology like Star Trek's transporters to beam them to stockrooms of Best Buys all around the country. They said this has started already. I then called Verizon and Best Buy on a conference call where the agreement was that thunderbolt would launch, I was also assured of what this weeks lotto numbers were, but I won't be sharing those here.

C'mon guys, do we really need to repeat adnauseum that some people think this thing will be released on the 24th, or 17th, or some other date, that none of us have solid proof of except for these "people in the know"?

You guys do know HTC is a Taiwanese company right? China and Taiwan are not the same thing.

You guys do know HTC is a Taiwanese company right? China and Taiwan are not the same thing.

They have plants in China and in Taiwan The MyTouch4G was produced in China and Taiwan for example.

they won't officially announce anything. They will just change the website so they are availble for purchase the day they are ready to start selling them.

They'll announce it after it has been sold for a few days....

Don't worry, we will all get our phones.

Verizon may appear to be mixed up and confused, but whatever the reason for the delay, the T-Bolt looks like the phone for me. At least for the next 2 or three years.
I am waiting for cost and whether the LTE and 3G data will cost the same. If so, I'm in because I don't expect LTE until late in this year or early next so I don't wanna pay more than I need to.
Its fun to read everyone's posts though, just don't fall for the hype, stick to your needs and assessment.

I'm just sharing what was told to me. As I said, I can't guarantee it's correct. If you don't like reading these types of threads...move along.
