I've been observing something in the TB commercials...on the 18th when I first saw them the girl counted to "6 Mississippi". Then, yesterday, I only heard her count to "5...". and TODAY..."4". Four days left until the 24th...as of today...is this a countdown to release???

No. It's them shortening the run time on the commercials to save money.

Already yesterday or the day before they were running commercials that had the little girl counting to 3, then to 2, and then the lightning strikes with the thunder at the same time.

I think you need to take the phone back either on the 24th or earlier. If you got the phone on the 11th, then 14 days later may be the 24th. I think you need to actually count the day you purchased it. I would not cut it that close and I wouldn't listen to any VZ reps about your return date.
If it was me, I would hand deliver that back on the 22nd. Also, if you got it via online, you'll need to ship it asap. It takes a few days to get to the warehouse then they need to inspect it before they accept the phone back. Even though the ship date counts as the the date they receive the phone, it may take them longer to update your account so you can buy the TB on the release day.

well i havent seen the commercial in a couple days...but if i do ill look for that clue. this could be a hint. or it could be shorter commercials to save money

I just saw it during the simpsons. I thought everyone said that there was a girl who counted in the spanish version and a guy in the english version. This was definitely a girl counting in this version. I was hoping it would have a date too, instead of "coming soon"

yeah i replayed it like 3 times. she counted 1,2,3..1,2..1..then she got hit by lightning.

well i pulled up my video that i originally recorded the first time i saw it. she originally counts up to 3 on it. so yeah this hint has been mythbusted

hahaha. thats the only logical reason i can see to why it has been delayed.
i just switched to vzw at best buy on the 13th and i pre-ordered the tb and got a dinc to use in the meantime. they have a 30 day return on the phones and said as long as the thunderbolt comes out within 30 days of the 13th i will just pay the difference.
It's not coming this week Which drives me up a wall beyond belief because when we found out it was delayed to the 24th I let it be and accepted it.. Here we are a few days away and STILL NO release date what so ever. wtf? IMO if it was coming out this week they would have put that in the T-Bolt comercial by now. I have been seeing it advertised nonstop, if it was coming out this week or this month in general we would at the very least have either a coming feb 24th or it would still say coming feb.. All these rumors of it being delayed yet again this time to march (getting old) is beyond stupid but looks to be the case.. Ah well
