599.99 is full retail. If you are a new contract or qualify as upgrade it is either 199.99 or 249.99 (we don't know yet).

Thought so. $749 seemed too high. I'm not trippin' about the $599.

While chatting with a vzw rep online she claimed to have been told that pricing may remain consistent with what they are offering now.

Olivia: No we do not at this time. We really do not have any information on it but what we have on the site right now. But it will be out very soon and also we was informed that being the 1st 4G phone it may be still a good price like we be offering now so you will not have to pay a arm and leg for it.



There are currently no phones being offered over $200 so hopefully it will be priced here. Wishful thinking at least.

And this is the perfect place for us crazy people to know first.....BTW for those still in doubt, I have been reading this stuff since Novemeber and Phil only says stuff that is high quality stuff. I think we can feel very confident....secondly between the moment Phil got his info and the launch if Verizon changes it mind...it will not be Phil's fault.

Well this sucks, can someone tell me if I am correct?

I became a NEW Verizon customer on 01/16/11, purchased at BB.
They said I had 30 days to return or excange and get a new phone at the "new subscriber price". The 24th will be 38 days. Does that mean I have to pay the full price? If yes then should I talk to the BB manager or Verizon about this? My current phone is defective and I would rather exchange it for a Thunderbolt+Cash.

I thought now you only have 14 days. Also, I am not sure but I thought you could only return one phone? may be i am wrong.

That's Verizon. Our policy is 30 days. It may depend on the store though. I would go speak with a mobile rep.

W00T if true. It's before best buys free buy back ends (feb 26th is the last day for it) And if it is indeed $749 retail W00T again.. I'll drop $250 for it and sell it back for $375 (of course for an even better 4g phone down the road)

Wasn't the Droid2 Global priced at 249? And if it is priced there, wouldn't it make sense to have retail at $649?

Nope...You get half of the retail price back. Not half of what you paid. So even if you only pay $249, and it retails for $750, you'll get $375 back. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Best Buy always marks up phones full retail to encourage contract buying. Its going to be 649 at VZ. And the BB gives you i believe 60% of what you paid back to you if it's within 6months.

What I am saying is I paid $50 for my Fascinate thru BB.
If I return phone for another Fascinate BEFORE the 16 do I get another 30 days and if YES then can I get the TBOLT for $249 or would I have to pay the full retail price?

Im not sure if you get another 30 days. And $50 the contract price? Because if so, then when you return it for the TB, you will only pay the contract price. YOu don't lose you upgrade if you don't keep the phone.
