I checked the link and there is no source provided. The link they provide points to themselves leaving us to go on the word of 'one of their guys'.

It seems pretty weak.

First time poster but have followed the thunderbolt hype for some time now. I'm as anxious as the next person for this phone so I decided to call a bunch of verizon stores to see if I could get some info. This is what they told me.

1) he said today then put me on hold. When he came back he said sorry we don't have a date. (maybe they got a shipment in today?)

2) 3 different stores said the 24th of Feb

3) 1 Store said between the 24th and 26th.

4) 1 store said by the end of the month.

All signs are pointing to the 24th.
Time will tell

The "store level" is not exactly what we're looking for in terms of this thing getting launched. Every other store has a story to tell about pre-ordering and when they're sure they'll be getting it

Off-topic, I was watching the Tuesday night's episode of "V" on ABC this morning and saw the Thunderbolt commercial with the lightning strike every commercial break. I know it's been out for almost a week now but it does seem to be coming on more frequently.

Cause as the storm grows closer and closer, the Bolts are much more frequent.

Ya, my friend who is a manager at a Verizon store said, without any hesitation, that the Thunderbolt will be available on the 24th. However, he also said there is no known price lol

they know damn well people expected the phone on the 14th and they failed to meet that expectation
