Their arrogance is hilarious.
You should read some of Raunchy_Jesus tweets....LMAO
Their arrogance is hilarious.
its not the truth
they know damn well people expected the phone on the 14th and they failed to meet that expectation
not meeting customers expectations = bad business
So speaking the truth is arrogant now?

I want this TB as much as the next person BUT I don't remember VZW ever giving a launch date. Yes we all expected it but never had a date other than "GUESSES"
Guys.... guys.... Best Buy had a release date. Did they say that it was subject to change? Yes. But I asked Best Buy, they said the 14th. Now they say the 24th. Where are they getting that? Making it up? Maybe but unlikely.
The fact that Verizon doesn't communicate well to it's Retailers is not my issue. They told them a date and BB communicated it in good faith. It was Verizon who failed to announce the date and then meet it.
this is ridiculous, verizon can tell their partners best buy all the dates they want, there is a reason they don't release it to the public b/c its subject to change and it would piss everyone off. thats why there are internal memos and updates and things arent released to the public. whatever the reason for the delay, its delayed there isnt a damn thing we can do about it and verizon nor best buy has had an official release to give us a date its all speculation!
WRONG. It was Best Buy who "leaked" insider info without permission. Even if Verizon did tell Best Buy that they would like to get it out by the 14th, that doesn't mean that it's an official release date. Nothing is official until Verizon makes it official.
Maybe the point should be that VZW has never supplied a date to release the phone. If my customers asked me when I would have their product available for them and I told them sometime within the next 6 months, I would be out of business. Maybe I should follow VZW's method and just telll them, "I am not saying". Yeah that would go over big. For a big company VZW does not do a good job on phone releases and communication with it's customer base. VZW knows they have us by the short hairs in some areas because the competition"s network doesn't stand up. So they will release phones when they want and tell us S*&T because they know they we will just keep coming back for more.
Tweet from Verizon Wireless....lol

@Raunchy_Jesus We haven't "changed" the Thunderbolt launch date - since we haven't announced it yet.

Verizon knew that BB was going to do a pre-order. They knew they printed ads for this weekend. They knew that Best Buy people would tell people who came in to the store that it'd be the 14th, then the 24th.
Your attempt to absolve Verizon of wrong doing is just... well, wrong. Verizon should have told Best Buy the same thing they told us "We don't have a date. We'll let you know". But they didn't, because they had a date and they run a business.
You guys want to accept that Verizon can do no wrong, that's cool... but at the very least, they left BB hanging out to dry and that's not right.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. They didn't LEAK IT. They told their store personnel to respond to customer inquiries with that. That's not a leak, friend -- it's a communication.
