Checked out that guy's page. In addition to the Thunderbolt training, this gem caught my eye:

Wow... 10% off an accessory that was probably marked up 300%. How generous a treat!

My partner knows this guy who works at Best Buy, moonlights at a Verizon mall kiosk, and translates documents for an attorney who represents HTC.

My partner said the guy said he heard from a reliable source that the firm release date is set for February 29.

That guy has NO idea what he's talking about. the Xoom doesn't even HAVE AN LTE RADIO!!! It has a 3G EVDO-A radio, and that's it.

I've been reading different places that the xoom is upgradable to LTE. I know this is the Thunderbolt forum but here's a link to one story.

Yeah. Unfortunately every Verizon and BB employee is giving different information at this point so you never know what answer you'll get.

Exactly. The best buy rep I was on the phone with even blatantly said VZW pushed the release date back because of low iPhone sales.

Just browse the Verizon site, start looking at phones and plans and stuff and you'll eventually get a pop up asking if you'd like to talk to a representative.
