OMG so many conflicting reports from ppl talking to reps/managers. Some managers are reportedly saying the phone is not coming out anytime soon whereas some others are saying it's coming out Monday!

I wish they would stop BS'ing ....Wonder why Verizon is not releasing a statement to say the phone was not coming out anytime soon. Is it because it will make them look bad (after announcing the phone will be dropping in Q1)? Or is it because all this hype serves as "advertisement" for the phone?

Every day I find myself going more and more insane. I need a rehab.

Lol. I gave up on the rumors. I'll be hopeful for Monday. Then if it's not here, Thursday, then if not Thursday it'll be the 10th I set my sights on, etc.

I would just break and get an iPhone, but I'd seem like a ****** because I talk the iPhone down to every person I have talked to about phones.

A girl who has lusted after an iPhone forever(On ATT, though) and finally got one is actually getting an Inspire on Monday, ahah.

My daughter came out of her room yelling for me this morning. I thought the roof was caving in. She had been on the phone with verizon because her phone was messing up. She was yelling to tell me the rep had told her the TB would be out next week. (She knows how much i want this phone)
I told her it wasn't true, but thanks for asking about it.
Later, while in town (I live in the sticks) I stopped by to play with a XOOM tablet since my laptop is fried. The rep had already pulled my account up while i was playing around with the XOOM (i am a regular customer ie. phone junkie). She said that i had 2 upgrades coming. I told her i was holding them for the Thunderbolt.
Her Manager stepped up and said "We'll be selling it Monday". I said "This coming Monday?". He said "yes". I questioned them about it being pushed back. The said that they had finally gotten the confirmation for Monday. I work next door to the store. The rep said she would be there early Monday because she had to open. I told her i would probably stop by. When i got in my car, she came out and told me her manager said she could have it set up and bring it over to me at work. She asked which line to add it to and i told her i just want it on a one year contract. She said she would see me about 9 o'clock monday morning.
Now i know this is just another rumour to add to the pile. I am still not betting on seeing it next week. Flame me if you wish. But this was a VZW corp. store. And i didn't even ask when it would be available. Just that i was holding upgrades for the phone. I don't think the rep would give me false information intentionally as i buy ALOT of phones and she knows i would find someone else to deal with if she was lying. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean they weren't misinformed.

I completely agree. Like i said, I don't believe Monday is the date. I am looking toward the 10th.
The store is in a town of about 6000 people in east texas. The manager said they had just gotten the email on the new date. I'm sure the reps are just quoting him.
I was the only customer in a store with 5 reps and a manager. I have been a customer in this store (formerly Alltel) for at least 9 years. I have used the same rep there for at least the last 4. I have 4 lines and a MIFI. I am a very good customer to this store. He was very firm and referred to correspondence. The reps agreed about the email because i literally LOL'd when he told me that and said that i thought it was pushed to at least the 10th.

This should be a REAL eye opener for the horsechit verizon is pulling. I'm not nor do I really care about the LTE crap. We are not going to be enjoying "true" LTE anytime soon.

Anyway, I got tired of waiting for this damn phone and caved last sunday, dumped the storm2 for a Dinc, only phone really worth getting.

During my 14 day I stumbled upon the Inspire over at Att. I have a company issued iTurd and I can receive 20% off monthly bill switching to Att.

Picked up the Inspire for the only reason of hardware, not 4G. Sweet phone!!!

So, back to verizon I go to cancel my contract. This was like pulling teeth!!!! The rep asks my purpose there and I say they have nothing that interest's me anymore and I want a change, as she is leading me over the the iTurd section.

Then she tries to sell me on the 4G phones they have!!!!! Really!!!! Not that it mattered but? Where are they? She was reffering to the Iphone4!!!!! Are you F-ing kidding me I said!!!!

After I rattled off my knowledge of devices and where we are, truley, she shut up and cancelled me.

My point is, all this 4G chit has got these companies scrambling to compete with lie tactics.

All the hype over these phones for 4G is over rated. Minus out 4G and then look at the device...

I've heard AT&T reps call it the iPhone 4G. We can't always count on these people to know everything about the products they sell. We should be able to, but we can't.

I heard my verizon store tell someone that on Friday as well. I called the rep out right then and there and got a super stink eye. I guess they feel like they can say whatever they want about it to the general population. 90% of people would keep that phone for 2 years thinking it has 4g because they don't know any better.
